Very helpful. On drone mode I don't see the option to customize the distance. What am I missing?

Except parallel mode does not work with this drone. As you can see, you set it to the side of you and it went behind you again. So, false advertising by DJI.

Great tutorial. Can you set the radius on the quickshots. And on POI, can I keep it at say 15 feet and 15 foot radius? Since obstacle avoidance doesn’t work when it is going sideways, where I am planning on shooting has a trees, so not a lot of room to work with. Need to keep it low and short radius?

I'm able to do spotlight and POI, but whenever Active Tracking is pressed it says "unable to switch subject. ... it only follows person or car.. something like that. Is something not set in settings?

Love the youthful exuberance and also plenty of great information. Glad to see a helmet being worn during skateboard rides. I think it should be noted that when the drone kept up with him at a pretty high speed in the car, it was in Sport mode. Can't wait to get mine up in the air tomorrow morning.

Thanks for explaining all that! There were some videos that couldn't simply explain that you have to draw a box around the subject in order to ACTIVATE the follow me mode. I was going crazy looking through tabs for a follow me menu.

So do you know what could prevent the drone from going into any of the active track modes? I’ve had mine a few days and it has never worked for me. It just pops up that the feature can’t be used in the current shooting mode. I’ve switched through all the modes to try and use this feature with no luck.

What is the likelyhood of hitting the tree in this auto modes? Some of them like hilux can only use in the very open field apparantly.

He talks about not having upward warning, and his model didn't have the two upfacing sensors in the nose of the drone.

An important note about the Active Tracking mode while runnin in parallel, the drone has no sensors at sides, so if you flight it paralel to you (not as in the video where it is behind even when you have selected parallel) it can crash.

Such as weak signal messages (what to do?), flying when you can't see your drone (behind a hill, mountain), in wind, using RTH when you can't see your drone, does RTH work if your signal is weak ....
