90s Music better than the 2020s ? Yes, I think 90s music is good. Not really better, but different. It's about money. The internet has undermined investment in music . So it's possible Musicians had more money for instruments, back in the 90s . Maybe there was room for more Musicians as well. I remember there being quite a lot of big clubs that were regularly full here in Plymouth. But, a club generally just hired a DJ on a regular basis.
Bands, played in big clubs, and in The Pavilions.
We also have a soccer stadium but the only act that filled that regularly was Plymouth Argyle Football Club until George Micheal and Elton John filled it , some time in the late Noughties.

Maybe, I missed a lot of gigs. But that's what, I have observed.
Plus music shops that we used to have, are not there , but instead there are mobile phone shops !
