The first clip drives me nuts... I get its artosis and he rages but what the player did was play the game.. hes mad because he never saw that build before? in a strategy game???? This is what killed rts enjoyment for me.. The same boring strats every game and people playing like every game is gsl finals.. Just play the game and enjoy it. People take risks BECAUSE THERES NO STAKES... its the ladder man... Take a zanax or something mate...

I don't play SC1, I did back in the day, but not ladder games. Artosis is really actually accurate in how he describes what's happening. His complaint is that people play such bizarre builds that it turns the game more into rolling dice than an actual starcraft game that it's supposed to be like. This is how bad players can climb the ladder, because it's not based on skill, it's based on rolling dice. The games are based on, has the opponent seen this before? Did they guess right on what wacky crap I'm doing? Artosis is actually correct that he is the one working on getting better, you can rise in rank from cheese, and you can improve certain cheeses that you play regularly, but these improvements are very slight and they don't really apply to the game skill in a meaningful way.

Everyone feels bad when they lose but wow... Show some respect to people out play you mate. Lower or higher rank does not matter, there is going to be a winner and loser in 1 vs 1 match ups.

It seems to me that he relies too much on existing strategies, so when someone comes around and does something unconventional, he just rage quits.

Well what would you do if you saw a higher mmr than you ? you think you can go toe to toe with that ? nope. A good player will beat you with experiance. Hence the cheeses. And offcourse and extremely outdated game that everone figured out allready. GG

why doesn't Artosis play protoss himself?

Interesting Artosis complains about his opponent doing something abnormal or bad in his opinion, but if you then I think you can take it as a learning opportunity rather than complain so hard about it. It seems different than how Artosis talks during casting, that players have to adapt & be aware and be rational.

Higher APM, higher units count, higher structures count, higher resource count, better upgrades.

artosis has major issues. he thinks apm is all that matters, which is funny because hes very innacurate in most things he does. he jerks off to vultures way too hard, he needs more variety. and lastly? if its in the game, and it beats you, its not cheesing. its called beating you. no such thing as cheesing bro, its just a complaint word to use when you lose/suck. i dont see Jaedong or Flash or Stork losing to *cheese*. get better, man.
