Fix Battery Drain on Samsung Smartphones! (S10 / S20 / Note 20) |Google Play Services

Hey! is it worth updating my S20 FE 4G samsung phone? I am on Android 13 and I cannot downgrade because my binary is C and the lowest C binary is Android 13 :( so I don't know whether to just never update it or just update it? For performance and battery life I should probably leave it on the lowest OS possible.

Samsung Cores Services app will heat up and drain battery on phone. Has been an issue for a while, only way for temp fix is to clear cache partition.

i have a samsung galaxy s21 ultra and it also had serious battery drain, however i have discovered that when i charge the phone using fast, and super fast charge, the battery would drain down fast,and i would get a days use on standby, without turning the screen on or playing games. however, i realised that when i charge the phone fast then the battery would not last very long so i switched fast charge off in the settings, and started to charge the phone slowly, sometimes just leaving it to charge ov3r night trickle charging it slow. when i did this the phone lasted 2 and a half days. so charging your phone more slowly DOES make the battery last longer, than when charged faster. it works for me. bye bye.

Android 11 is really bad regarding battery drain issue. I was getting 12 hours SoT when I was using Android 9. But now it's 5 hours thanks to Android 10 and 11 (!)

Exynos processor is very bad, that's why i left Samsung, i am using Huawei P30 Pro, Kirin980, Fast Processor and battery saving

I have no idea what's going on with my S10 Plus. I'll have it on the charger and it'll start draining even when the symbol shows it's charging.

I could follow the initial instructions however, those that did not help you... you covered themn too quickly so could not find the button to turn off.
