My personal opinion is that you go both ways. Sprinkle office videos (field guides season by season, episode rankings, character breakdowns, etc) in alongside field guides for different shows and movies. I think its more than possible and it would give your channel a fresh injection of life whilst keeping what drew us in. Your call though man, whatever you decide you’ll keep doing what you do best

Do what you think best fits you and helps you in the long run. I love all your stuff. And you if you want to do the super-size episodes of the Office, I'm all for it. Look there are tons of channels discussing every damn aspect of the sinking of the Titanic, I'm sure you can do more with the nine seasons of the Office....that said, I did enjoy your other episodes on other shows too.

I like what you said about being in a ‘groove’. Your stuff isn’t formulaic, but has a nice rythme. I think you perfected how it’s laid out. Maybe bring back the dundees for the last couple episodes?

What to do after the Office? Field Guides to Parks and Recreation, B99 and The Good Place. Maybe the Original Office and Schitt’s Creek?

Well, technically, these are the 2nd version of Office Field Guides, doing the same show that way a third time doesn't seem necessary. Doing another show makes more sense (albeit not financially it seems). My vote is for Community. The UK Office is a pretty good idea as well. Though, not to go bankrupt or anything, maybe just the other kind of video essay should be the main focus, on many shows including The Office. I enjoy various TV analysis vids a lot, so I'd certainly watch Mulverine ones.

But, speaking more selfishly... Community... UK Office.... Community... UK Office.... Community..........

I want to see what other passions you have, I know it might be "bad for the channel" so you may have to play the game a bit to try and sustain watchers after this series is done...I really would just like to see you talk like this about most anything you actually care for though.

I always thought that a fun idea for you might be to have a series on character profiles for all of the characters on The Office who have been in at least three or more episodes.

Reviewing the Superfan episodes with your refined perspective sounds like fun. If you choose to do that. We will watch those just like we rewatch the office.

I know you already did a little bit of season 1 of superstore but I’d love for you to do every episode! New Girl, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and 30 Rock are also ones I think would be interesting.

I would really like to see you do Parks and Rec. I feel like of all the workplace sitcoms, it is the most resembles a spiritual successor to The Office.

How about a series with each episode dedicated to a different character in The Office? Would that possibly be more lucrative?

Personally I'd love to see you start again from the beginning with the superfan episodes, applying the thoughts, insights and analytical methods you've developed over these Field Guides to the earlier seasons. No shade on the early videos, they're really good, but I feel like you've really found a winning formula in the last few seasons. And the superfan episodes add a lot of different angles.

Alternatively - and I know you've sort of done some of this already - I'd love to see some videos analysing particular plot strands, like how the writers developed the PB&J storyline, or Dwight and Jim. For example, probably my major frustration with The Office overall is the unevenness of how they evolved the Dwight-Jim stuff. Different writers took it in different directions to wring gags out of it, which is fine - and obviously it's a comedy not a novel - but personally the whole season 6 "Get Jim fired" plan and the initial Jim snowball attack in Classy Christmas come across as jarring and out of place in the overall move towards Jim and Dwight actually becoming genuine friends. Would love to hear your thoughts on that.

The videos aren't long but knowing that there's multiple videos to watch can be a lot. The strangler was a one-off. People like the blooper reels and the behind the scenes and anything less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately the top 10 format like what you did for the characters where Creed was number one are great videos

I very much enjoy watching your breakdowns of this show I've come to love and would be open to breakdowns on other series that I have never watched too. My brain loves theories and analyzing things so this tickles my brain very much. Looking forward to what comes next, whichever way you decide to go!

Hi Chris i alreqdy comment3d on this one but i had a thought... you had a lot of sucess with your more analytical office theory videos. That might be the trick... id love a deep dive into a what if format. Like answer the questions... what if the michael scott paper company was a viable success, what if michael didnt leave, what if Devon wasnt fired... what if merideth was made boss instead of creed?

How about both Parks and Rec AND restarting The Office ? Superfan episodes are still being made.

I'm a little disappointed that when you were listing things you've gone through while doing the series, and said "a career change", you didn't have a photo of yourself in a lab coat with a stethoscope, or in scuba-gear, or overalls with a butterfly net... and giving the same smiley thumbs up as in the hospital photo.
I only say this because I looked away for that second and actually replayed it because I felt like there'd be something there, but alas, you've let me down... LOL. I'll try to pick up the pieces and move forward.

I love your videos about the office. I love your field guides and the way you break everything down and I know you want to move on and do different things with your channel after season nine of the office, but since you brought it up, I would love to see you go all the way back to the beginning, and do it all over againand see if there’s anything all these years later that we’ve missed in the field guides. It would be really cool. Either way, I am excited for the future of your channel!
