JBL Flip 6 vs Bose Soundlink Flex: Which to Buy in 2024?

I bought the Bose at yard zale...THEY WAS LIQUIDATING...30 US$ IT HITZ...my phone SOUNDS LIKE A FULL stereo zystem!!!

The jbl flip 6 should have been placed flat so that the other passive radiator can work

20 pounds extra on the bose? christ its TRIPLE the jbl here when the jbl is on sale (which is constantly on sale)

Anyone plz let me jbl flip 6 made in china or made in vietnam which could be better

I took the Bose back and bought the JBL on the simple fact Bose makes you get a app and it’s to much of a pain to have to use that app, that’s the only reason why I won’t buy Bose Bluetooth devices anymore it kisses me off

I preferred the sound quality of the JBL , glad you did this test I was going to get the Bose

I own 2 and I hate them. They never pair and frankly it's getting old. Bose can't seem to get the bose connect app to work. Own 2 micros. Same problem.

JBL & BOSE have the worst EQ in the market. They lack middle and treble.

That Bose looks too much like a purse. I don't like the design, though it has a good, warm sound.
I prefer the JBL its shape, and volume is appealing to me.

I went with the Flip 6 because here in Turkey the Bose Flex costs twice as much. No matter how much I prefer deep bass over everything else it was nonsense to pay double the price. I hope that the EQ Settings in JBL App can make up for the difference in bass, given that in stock mode the Bose’s basses sounds quite a bit better.

I was going to get the Bose for the slightly higher sound quality but the 4.2 bluetooth is definitely a deal breaker

Here’s my personal experience on Bose Flex vs XG300:
Bose has the clarity and balance; Sony only marginally excels at bass punch.

Bose needs to do better as a company and actually innovate with the speaker technology and also have support representatives available to support and answer their customers questions.

Plus the speaker apps and portable speaker apps and headphone apps are buggy and outdated. Why is bose letting the competition get ahead and surpass them?

The speaker technology is adequate compared to the competition and the apps are buggy and suck compared to some of the competition like sonos and JBL. Bose just needs to do better. I as the customer should not have to point this out.

Decent review. However, definitely not an accurate/fair representation of the bass on the JBL Flip 6 because you tested the sound while it was standing on end which covers up 1 of the bass radiators, muffling the "true" bass sound.

FOUGHT buying the Bose, then the Flex comes around. LOVED my JBLs but the JBLs must have a terminator bug programmed into them., The ports died on all models of my JBLs. Sound was very good, but the Flex gets my vote. Plus the shape of the Flip is not convenient.
ALL MP3 apps I use come with all the EQ you could want. My Galaxy S10 comes with Atmos and a very good EQ feature. But the Bose does not need it as much as other speakers.I listened to La La Life by Alin Dimitri handled the heavy bass no distortion played at 60% volume (loud), same with When the Lights Drop by Erbil Dzemoski. I listened to them in my living room, 15x30 feet.

Blindly Buy JBL, not recommmmend overhyped overpriced flex

Bose flex, and regarding the surround sound effect from the Bose cylinder speakers to me that’s a big selling point I really like it, as opposed to directional speakers, wish you have to be somewhat in front of.

i have defently been very loyal to JBL i have a go2, go3, xtreme 2 flip 5, flip 3se ,Tune 230 NC, wave beam, flip 6, charge 3, another go 2, jbl tune 500 x2, i think thats it may be more but idk

JBL is Disapointing for it only charges with the charger it comes with, every other charger i tried using had it blinking and making alert noises.... really annoying if you misplaced the charger and trying to charge the speaker...

I have a Bose MIni that I like a lot. I recently moved to a house on a River & wanted a bigger speaker for sitting outside. I was looking at the Bose Soundlink Revolve + but the price of 300.00 USD was a bit to much for a River or Beach speaker. So I was looking at Soundlink Flex for 149.00. After watching your video I will be purchasing the Soundlink flex

Bose quality and customer service is not good.

JBL products are less expensive and are better quality.

Bose has always thought 'their' preferred response is the 'best' for everyone. It turned me off on Bose 30 years ago. I'm still a Bose fan and appreciate their contributions over the years but they've been surpassed by so many audiophile level speaker systems in the past 30.
