ОтветитьI never trust using chrome or Firefox no matter who tells me I need it for some things such as college work.

ОтветитьI’m not a conspiracy theorist. But I’m pretty sure this is Google trying to save chrome. Anyone with 2 brain cells uses Firefox, so what’s Firefox’s market share? Probably like .0001%? Right… somone put all that effort in to exploit a few people… I doubt it
The fact Google keeps removing this comment is proof
No honorable mention of waterfox, a superior version of firefox? Huh.
ОтветитьThank god I use windows xp internet explorer:)
FYI connecting windows xp to the internet is like sleeping in the nether.
Have fun
Feels like there have been allot of 9.8 CVSS lately. Might be time to switch to purpose built programs with simplified code if security is a concern. 3 million lines of code for a browser has to be mostly bloat at some-point. Chrome had a 9.8 RCE with the ability to escape and run in firmware not too long ago too.

ОтветитьA good 'ol fashioned proxy server could filter out the ads...I made one for a similar purpose 15-years ago or so. Not a clue as to where I put it and the code for it...been over a decade since I coded anything.
