I so, so want this league mechanic to go core, even though it's such a "weird" one. Something about it just fits so, so well. I've never wanted a mechanic to go core as much. And the way they've integrated old league mechanics in a minor way, too. It's just feeling SO, SO good. Never has PoE felt so good to me after all these years.

TLDW: Base game is insane. Build diversity is great! Lots of options.

This mechanic put some of the RPG back into ARPG.

The farmville style gameplay and gameplay-breaking micromanagement just aren't for me at all, but pleased to be in the minority and that most people are digging the league :)

I agree 100% about this season mechanic. Its like game defining. It needs to stay in the game forever and hope PoE 2 will have similar mechanic to after trying it I cant see it missing there. Its not only fun, but its also friendly for people that have life. And it makes you come back for more! Loving it!

Yup Gold is motivating you so much to do more maps and keep pushing :D Have to pay those wages. Only thing I would complain about is that workers that are assigned to jobs, but have no materials to process (miners/forge) when you go sleep drain your gold all night anyway. Gold should only be drained if they DO WORK. not when they are assigned. Hope they fix that!

It is so unfortunate that POE has not followed a concept easy to learn difficult to master, but rather difficult to learn an PhD degree to master. I am a very dedicated player but if you need about 1000 hours just to scratch the surface, it is too much. From what I have heard POE2 learned the lesson and will be more accessible. BTW this league mechanic is the best feature in POE for me

One small criticism of the league mechanic is, it takes a while to start getting any kind of reward, but other than that, it’s good.

Edit: Black market is very welcome to fill in bad gear slots, so there’s that.

The build diversity and league mechanic are awesome. This league is probably the best ever and I've been playing since CB.

This League mechanic is so good because it does "dopamine double dipping", you get dopamine from actively playing and passively playing, always feels like there's a reward looming in one way or another, managing your settlement is also a way to sort of break away from a repetitive streak that was starting to build up into a feeling of boredom and then "reset" back into the action. As a casual player this league is probably the one i've played for the longest continuous period of time at the start of the league.

This league is the King of Kings for me. I don't know how we could ever go back to before this and have as much fun. This league just trumped every single other league mechanic for me.

The game generally feels more rewarding again and that is a huge motivator for me.
