As always we want to bring you well rounded impressions, so I hope you can appreciate the logistics of the last week we’ve gone through! 😂

Im a fan of dragon age origins. I just played the first few hours of veilguard. why are people hating on this game so hard? Its fine so far. It looks nice (yes the style is different but its fine and honestly looks better than inquisition to me). It plays pretty good. The voice acting is good. The story is ok so far. The dialogue isnt winning any awards but its fine for the most part. The performance is stable. What is the fucking problem here? Its like people that havent even played the game are just parroting negative opinions because they are too brain-rotted to think for themselves.

Dark Fantasy with high stakes.... no just no... this is the most disney style dark fantasy I've ever seen. If you want actual Dark Fantasy just play Witcher 3

Well EA well done you have managed to assure that I will buy your game in a few months off a 3d party seller for cheap after the game releases I might be able to find a review or atleast just raw gameplay so I can make my own decision

People are way too hung up on the entire "dark fantasy aesthetic" aspect. I personally think the combat style is awesome and i wished i could have played DAI this way because I'm more action oriented than strategic. The art style is not the best it could have been but it's not as important if the storytelling is good (except for the qnari, it's horrendous). My take is that if you enjoy it then you play it, if it put you off then just don't. I love ME trilogy story but i have never played it because i don't like shooting games. Or i don't play diablo 4 and gave up on diablo 3 after a couple of seasons because they have lost the feelings of diablo 2 which i loved so much, but i don't go around bashing them because it doesn't help anyone. If you don't like the game for whatever reason, just move on in peace.

I don’t like that you controll only one character, the base mechanics for dragon age was always, work as a Team, I loved Switching characters just for fun in the previous games.

The change to action RPG would have already been enough to make this a no go but removing blood magic and the fact this is more dumbed down than previous entries make this unbuyable.

Turning down the difficulty on a game just to get it over with sooner as some early reviewers have said is a HUGE red flag. Definitely will pass and wait for a $20 sale! They expect us to pay $70 for a mid rpg not happening.

Its another bait and switch. They should have made this game NOT with Dragon Age IP. Do their own thing and some will enjoy it for what it is. This is nothing at all like a Dragon Age game. Calling it Dragon Age is borderline fraudulent.
