Google Adsense Auto Ads vs Manual Ads - Which is Better?

Hey, great video. Do you have a video on setting up manual ads? I tried it for 1 hour yesterday on my site and to my surprise, I made just under $3 on 1 click however I placed the code on the sidebar of one of my blog posts and also the ad index file into my directory and then noticed my website was running very very slow to the point it just crashed so I removed these ads.

Google Auto Ads are a DISASTER. You let them place ads anywhere on your site and they will place HUGE ads ABOVE your site's design and then 30+ ads per page and your site will look like a dumpster to avoid. Also, I must say that "nothing wrong with being lazy" that's what's wrong with the world these days: lazy people "running" (ruining) things and bad disasters happen where people perish and things go really wrong. Never say there'0s nothing wrong with being lazy. There's EVERYTHING wrong with being lazy. Being lazy should be a crime :-)

if I want to apply for adsense my site should be more than 6 months old right ,so while in that period if i edit my site UI will the time period get reset

Auto ads are not showing on my website, please help! I have done everything correctly but still not able to see ads on the website.

When i use the Auto Ads on 2 of my sites , i put the code on each page and it all shows up on adsense but on the live site it only puts ads on a single page and none of the others. Any suggestions would help as Adsense support is none existant at the moment.

I'm on my 3rd violation right now in the last 3 months for what was an unknown reason. I added another domain to my account back in November and forgot to reduce the ads. I had it at maximum. My other sites were at 1/3. I hope this is the fix! Thank you!

it's not entirely true that you have no control over auto ads. It used to be this way, but not anymore. You can exclude pages you don't want ads to appear on as well as ad positions you don't like.

I have noticed the anchor ads, the ones that stick to the top of mobile screens, cause CLS issues in core web vitals reporting. If you have no site problems & you are getting CLS issues highlighted in Search Console, turn off the sticky anchor ads. Personally, I think you should use an ad management tool such as Ad Manager or Ad Inserter, auto ads can be unpredictable, inserting too many ads, ads above header (which will also cause CLS issues) and regardless of how you try to tweak the settings, auto ads can appear in inappropriate areas of your page. In my view, it is not a good option to use auto ads.

hello i use automatic payment the balance ive spent is 111$ it says *Next payment

My page has been around for over 10 years (top5ofanything) and I'm making peanuts in comparison and it's a bit depressing. When you showed the stats of your websites, it seemed like manual ads was always paying more per impression. Even in the last example where the auto ad and manual ad had almost same earnings, but auto ads had 3x more impressions. Does this mean the manual ads performs better?

Do you still use AdSense? Don't you prefer to move to Mediavine or add thrive?
I'm reaching to 30k page views a month and thinking of moving to Mediavine, should I do it or stay with AdSense?
By the way I'm using auto add from the first day, works fine for me.
