Should 343 add Assassinations to the next Halo game?

assassinations are core to halo. removing assassinations removed a core aspect of how the game functions. games need more diversity in how you play the game, not less.

If they bring back assassinations and stop inserting rainbow flags a gay shit Ill come back...until then I'll be purging xenos and heretics in SpaceMarine 2😎

I was really disappointed when they said they would be added and weren't just in Infinite. Then they never came in. They are such an awesome addition

Nah, fuck that mate. Never liked how they take away control and bog down the flow of gameplay. If they weren't in Halo 3 I don't want it. Simple as.

I get you’re trying to use this platform and the audience you’ve earned as a way to have a voice and to get our voices out there, but you should know by now that 343 doesn’t care about halo and confirmed as much after they told us they didn’t even like it YEARS ago. I miss when I would see an upload and it was a short clip of the most insane sandbox fuckery I’ve ever seen. Now when I scroll all I see is 343 please please please DOG…. They don’t care…. They’ve never cared. I will NEVER forgive Microsoft or 343 for what they did to my favorite piece of media to ever exist, My childhood, the very thing halo stood for, or the greedy, grubby, slimy monetization of the franchise. Halo used to be fun, pretty unique, and had an incredibly interactive sandbox. Now a days, it’s just another boring sweat fest of an arena shooter just like EVERYTHING is trying to be. Sorry for the tangent at the end, but yeah bro I would just do what makes you happy and stop pleading with those heretics.

Assassinations were one of the few new additions I actually liked in Reach, and they were a bit of a highlight in Halo 5, so I have no idea why they would get rid of the feature. Even if you want to argue that Infinite was 343 trying to go back to basics, and make a more classic Halo experience, I don't think classic fans are against the idea of assassinations in general, even if the classic games didn't have them. Really hope the next Halo game has assassinations, among other things like custom colors, playable Elites, etc.

The fact that there was and wont be player collision nor assassinations was the immediate death sentence for Infinite. They truly failed.

They should add halo 5 to pc. I doubt they will knowimg how 343/Microsoft is but modders potentially being able to add in custom assassinations would be DOPE! (and just mods for H5 overall)

I’m done with most of the Halo Infinite pvp modes cuz they’re so sweaty af.
Now my main mode is firefight and I sometimes play infection cuz it doesn’t require that much skill just map knowledge

The biggest thing is Microsoft needs to gtfo of the dev studios. Next, the rating needs to go back to M. If they want a lower age rating, then do a Lego™/Megabloks™ game. This wider audience agenda is bs.

Imo halo 5 ruined assassination. Instead of innovating the they monetized it making some cool assassination and the rest was just dumb over the top time wasting animations

no assassinations in infinite was a MASSIVE dealbreaker for me and one of the reasons i don't play it much anymore, there is no point in having customizable armor if you can't see your spartan assassinating someone.
Also no helmet view in at least the campaign, i liked seeing bits of the helmet on the hud because it was immersive.

P.S i still think Halo 5 should be added to the MCC as someone who likes to have complete collections its killing me not having halo 5 in the MCC on PC

It sucks there's so many negative videos about the current state of Halo. Which has the potential to be #1 again.
