I always love your videos. You're so chill, relaxed and they feel so natural and not rehearsed or scripted.
I feel like you're having a conversation with me and that's fantastic.
Your cander when reviewing and talking as a use is ao much more useful that all of the videos where people talk pure specs.
I also loved that with this video you spoke about the steam deck as a whole. I finally have a my own now and your videos helped me decide it was best for me!
Drinking game: have a shot everytime he says "right?" ~
ОтветитьWhat handheld would you suggest if money wasn't a concern and you wanted the ability to play any game any time with the least worries
ОтветитьThe Honda Civic analogy is spot on, dude. Well put.
ОтветитьBro, your jaw line is crazy. Good video.
ОтветитьFirst video I have seen of your's and I just wanted to say I really appreciated your flow and personality! Keep it up dude! I recently bought a OLED deck and I am in love with it! Would be curious if there are any tips you have for playing BG3, as I am looking to continue the story on my work commutes 🙂
ОтветитьAlt Title: Gamer Chad Shaggy tells us why the Steam Deck is preme!
Ответитьgood info, what would you recommend for someone that plays Baldur's gate, cyberpunk and wants something a bit more future proof I was thinking about the Loki Max but I am hearing bad things about its software.
Ответитьpalwolrd was a surprisingly easy boot and multiplayer worked like a charm
ОтветитьI have the LCD with a 2tb drive. I'm thinking of upgrading to the OLED model ASAP. I would like the etched glass model. Hopefully I can afford one before steam deck 2!
ОтветитьI just worry the battery life as the more u play the more u charge. And of course nowadays we know build in battery do had lifespan which last average 2-4 years depend how often it use.
ОтветитьYour review is very thorough and makes excellent points. Great job!
ОтветитьYour videos are great. I do love them... but be more confident my guy. You're good looking and have a great mind. Be a bit more confident in what you speak
ОтветитьI love how right at the end I was thinking "Finally! A good, comprehensive review! I'm subscribing to this guy." And immediately after he asked for advice to improve his videos. If you see this dude, phenomenal video. I went through like 5 or 6 videos trying to decide this system was worth it for me and none of them broke it down as well as you did. Thank you 🫡
Ответитьgood video, i am still not sure if i should go with the base or oled
ОтветитьLinux have alot compatibility issues if you wanana mod your games its a nightmare. The verified system is a complete joke with the steamdeck . Plus the specs is underwhelming.
ОтветитьThis video was clutch 🔥🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьIf i can have any of the handheld devices
What should i get really
I may play cod sometimes but not too much
I want to play campaign games mostly in the handhelds and party games
So should i take the steam
I like how it is configured and how it is plug and play and i feel i want to try this
But having double the frame rates on the legion go is making me so confused in choosing one of them
Damn i want to chose 😞💙
The reason why the steam deck is the only hand-held that makes sense is because it was actually built with the limitations of hand-helds in mind. The handhelds with better performance and higher refresh rate screens will last for a fraction of the time, even if you put a specially optimized Linux image on them, because they weren't built as handhelds. A hand held needs to prioritize battery life over all else, and that's why the Steam Deck OLED is objectively the best hand held on the market. If you care about performance, you're not using a handheld, you're using a desktop PC.
Ответитьmaximum gwaphix and performance in AAA normie games is nice, but you can't achieve that on any handheld. Unless the game is just really well optimized or older. I think Persona 3 Reload is technically a AAA (bcuz big budget) and I know that's an easy 60 solid at maximum settings
If I didn't alrdy have a gaming PC, I'd just invest in a Mini PC instead of an Ally or LeGo and get so much more from it if I RLY wanted to play modern AAA games that badly with the same budget. Not like I won't be tethered to the wall anyways. They're obsolete bcuz of that
Apart from overall performance, no reason to choose anything else over the Steam Deck. I probably won't even upgrade to the next one, unless erry indie game has performance issues and becomes extremely graphically demanding or whatever. Or if the next Deck has good enough upgrades, like a better battery, refresh rate, FreeSync/VRR, hall sensor triggers and sticks, etc
Palworld is in early access. It's kind of a tall order to expect a well-optimized game from amateur devs that learned how to code on the job lol. Plus, modern gaming engines are extremely graphically intensive, so there's not much you can do there. These games that the normies are so upset about on their handhelds, are meant to be played exclusively on the latest desktop hardware. Modern games don't even have good low settings, as they're all still visually appealing. They just don't go that low anymore and are way too intense on average hardware. Even consoles struggle on these new games and are often poorly optimized on the consoles
Nice to see a balanced review rather than the usual steamdeck fanboy gushing
ОтветитьAfter trying the Switch OLED, I felt like the colors were so off on my original Steam deck. I play a lot of indie games with bright colorful graphics so the OLED is really fantastic, very noticeable. No regrets selling and buying the new version. Also battery life is SIGNIFICANTLY better and it’s somehow lighter than the original.
ОтветитьThanks for the great video, you just got a new subscriber! I love your relaxed vibes, it feels super comfy to be here! no drama or shouting, just a thought out, chill, informative video :)
and thank you for the honest review! I have an original model SD, and i wasn't sure if upgrading is worth it. The OLED seems amazing, and I am so happy for everyone whos got one, but you kinda freed me a bit from my FOMO I think haha. Gonna take your advice, and be happy with the device i already have :)
much love, and keep up the awesome work!
"most games" bro...
ОтветитьI wanted to buy a keyboard and mouse to perhaps play overwatch 2, do you think that would be possible? Or does overwatch fall under the same issues as cod 😢
ОтветитьI wouldn't have any issues with multiplayer because I only play a couple of mp titles and would prefer to play on console anyways. If I had a steam deck I would probably only pay AA single player titles anyways, most likely 2d games like Castlevania type games etc. Other than that I would play games like Piranha Bytes games, Spiders games etc. Maybe would play dark souls and the like as well. AAA titles I prefer on console. I just might get one of these one day if I can ever afford it. But then again a desktop pc would be preferable to a handheld for countless reasons.
ОтветитьCome on this is bullshit! Most multiplayer games work perfectly fine on the Deck!
ОтветитьFirst time for me to watch your channel... You're a natural! So clear, authentic and helpful... Well done! Just subscribed. Wishing you continued success!
ОтветитьI think you are under selling steam os and the steam ecosystem. I think this might be most about the games you are currently enjoy and the genre. If you play a lot of sports or shooters .. steam deck won’t look that to you.
ОтветитьGood review laid back and relaxed in your presentation, no nonsense with the truth- keep it up, Subscribed!
Ответитьi like chill, informative videos
like
To bad Valve doesn’t sell these in Norway, we have to buy overpriced third party import Steam Decks. Also great video, subbed! 😊
ОтветитьIm stuck on choosing the SD OLED or the Legion Go.
I lean towards SD but I also want to be able to play my Xbox games AND Steam.. and Legion Go offers that.
I just worry about the LeGo support in the future.
i never realized how 40fps is really good compared to 30fps. i dont miss 60fps on these devices.
Ответитьthis guy is freaking weird
ОтветитьGta5 works on epic
ОтветитьI didn't realise gigachad made reviews now
ОтветитьNice review bro.
ОтветитьI played gta online just fine
Ответитьsubscribed, love your vibe and personality
ОтветитьI’ve been a console player my whole life. I’ve never owned a gaming pc sadly. I really do want to give this a try. Do I need a pc to set it up or is it good to go out of the box?
ОтветитьThinking to get 512 gb oled but have some concerns.
So there is still a chance for Thumb stick drift ?
Also a bit concerned about the dead pixels and headphone jack issues. Are the new batch of steam decks have less issues that i mentioned ?
I wanna get a hand held for:
Palworld
Dragon ball z sparking zero
PS4 remote play
2D fighters (MK, SF, DBFZ, Marvel vs Capcom)
PS2 emulator
PS3 emulator
And use as a secondary computer
I currently have a HP 4GB ram 64GB SSD.
Legion Go or Steam Deck?
I don’t play games a lot. I don’t have much time between work, university & accomplishing my goals.
I just want something to kinda just bs around on during weekend evenings or while I’m traveling. I want something with a strong battery because I also have an external monitor I want to utilize.
good job brother. was going to buy LGo but after some thinking then no for now.
ОтветитьWonderful video, very informative and such a relaxed vibe. I like it, much better than all the fast paced super hyper type of content out there
Ответитьmy guy doesn't have full suspend plugin installed
ОтветитьI thought the oled screen was much better to look at, isnt that a good reason to upgrade? Isnt the lcd screen a bit outdated now?
(I don't have a steamdeck but interested to buy one when it becomes available in my country)
Awesome video man, it just popped up in my feed. Picked up a second hand 64gb LCD Steam Deck on Tuesday, absolutely love it. I'll be upgrading the SSD and grabbing a micro sd for it.
