I caught a few things here and there after rewatching a bazillion times but I just cannot figure how exactly this trick was performed. This might be the greatest card trick ive ever seen in my life

Only explanation is he knew Penn's favorite number was 3. Placing that card in the 3rd position from the top is the easy part.
