I found one in a bin at an action warehouse for $3. I'm not complaining for a burner. The screen, while 720p, feels solid, and is as large as my S22+.

I give it a 7/10. It may go up I just got it not all that long ago. It's a little too big where it won't fit in the pockets I wear so maybe I will just buy bigger pockets but don't want to leave it out in the open. I have installed a few games on it and it works good but this is not for that. This is for work or for family and if I want something for games or movies I will use a Computer, Game Systems I own or the TV for that crap. I bought the Moto G as a burner phone anyways.

Personally I love my Motorola and have no regrets buying it.. and have no payments

Optimum gave me this phone for free and it is HORRIBLE. I thought it was comparable to my lovely LG which they said was not compatible with the Optimum network.

Its a phone... I feel as long as you can do basic stuff calling, text, internet ect ect... Then its fine ... I never understood why people need the most expensive phone... Especially when whatever phone expensive or cheap you buy will be irrelevant within a few years...people are just brainwashed and addictied to having the best of the best when in reality... There is no such thing....

I just got this phone and it works PERFECTLY and is good for games that don't use to much graphics JUST USE A LAPTOP

i don't know why your phone lagged so much i have the exact model and it runs extremely smooth and well yeah the storage sucks but i like this phone a lot it also got android 13 recently which is not that bad

This phone is complete garbage, my first day owning it and I'm having trouble running every single app and the Android launcher nearly freezes every 30 seconds, I don't know why they give us 120 fps capabilities when it can't even handle a steady 60fps. The only reason I own this phone is because it was free, I'm now looking into a Samsung Galaxy a15

T-Mobile kept sending me messages that I needed to turn my old phone in for a free new Moto G. I have never really used the phone except for emergencies, but I was never shown how to use this new technology. I have taken it back to a different store, and was told to take it back to where I got it. Obviously, since that store didn't make any commission on it, they weren't about to show me how to use it. I have tried to send photo's (something new for me) and sometimes it gets to the person other times I spend hours trying to figure it out. I don't need all the extra apps, etc. just some basic knowledge, e.g. how to lighten the screen and how to send pics. Worst service ever from store employees. I've been a T-Mobile customer for over 20 yrs and they can't give me the time of day to explain a phone that has no instructions.

I did the Android 13 update today and it fixed how dim the display was. Now it is bright enough at half opposed to almost at max settings.

The same was with my Lenovo M9 tablet that I had.

Spectrum sold me two of these so i got screwed twice. For 180.00 per phone !
I wish i had done my homework, but i took the word of the spectrum salesman ?

I have a moto g 5g cell phone and it works great I had it for a year now and it plays games good it plays movies good I like my phone

Yeah, never buying a Moto phone again. What a horrible piece of crap. Not even usable, and notifications are late all the time. I can't even use this as a crappy work phone. Phone was filled with spam, and barely performs.

My parents just got this phone and for them it does everything they could want or need, their previous phone was the 2015 moto g 3 so for the price they paid ($60) its a pretty good upgrade for them. I understand its not the best phone out there, but for people who can't and don't want to spend hundreds this phone is great.

Bought this phone as a temporal replacement cause I lost my old phone which would eventually be replaced and now I know why I'm in want of a real more expensive and extensive model. This phone seems to have a mind of its own, especially when it comes to the Keyboard resetting itself over what I prefer and am accustomed to. There is no photo gallery app or music app as it is hidden and it's very limited even as compared to cheaper phones. The 'step in and step out' AI auto feature keeps resetting your app or anything you might have on hold in commentary or calculation should you go from app to app(this is the only phone that has ever done this) the (shift) keeps resetting to number pad. The internet freezes if you have more than 30 pages open. It does take great video and pictures, but accessing them is only in the files folder. What the hell is switch!!??? Also the clipboard has to be activated for retaining key text or pictures?(Should be auto) I have to continually transfer my data(pics, text, pdf's, downloads, etc) from internal to sd...!!!??? About the best phone I have ever used for function was my last LG. I am now nervous about getting a more expensive phone as 'what if this happens with the Moto Edge Plus. Reason for new phone is the camera and video features though it is absent the sd card feature though I can live with 512gb storage.

The memory for the moto g is horrible even with a SD card.I am happy how he brought up the memory situation.I got my moto g phone from walmart for $60 which wasn't bad.But the memory is horrible like what he was saying

no way I had mine since September 1 2023 works perfect and I dropped it hard 2 times no screen broken TF...but ya it's great and clear and loud I'll never complain and it cost $172👍👍

To meny glitches. The camera commands are slow and dont work.

I got it as a free state phone so I'm cool with it

My dad got this phone and it's great, it's a phone for phone calls that's what it is for period.

People are way too hung up (pun not intended) on " what's the specs" , " does it have a high powered camera for filming a movie" , " does it have the highest CPU for web searching" , "does it have 4k resolution" so on and so on.

How about we go back to Payphones and corded phones at home , call collect , White Pages and Yellow Pages etc.... this was all before cellphones even existed, so before anyone complains their phone doesn't have the very best of multimedia crap on it , you should thank God you don't have to deal with long lines at payphones and tying up the lines at home because your siblings or parents are gossiping all day on the home phone.

Youngsters will never appreciate or understand the struggles back in the day.
