I'm American, I'm definitely not anti-China(well....not completely), but their government is FUCKED!! If you consider all the corruption there, the whole social credit score thing, absolutely no freedom of speech....If you speak out against the government there is a good possibility you might magically "disappear" or be imprisoned. Not to mention all the concentration camps and the murder and mistreatment of the Uyghurs Muslims, also the persecution of the Falun Gong people. Then there is the religious persecution there...I mean they basically want you to worship Xi Jinping. Just everything about it is corrupt. Also the way their gov handled the COV19 thing over there was pretty twisted too! I'm sure most Chinese people are lovely people, but their government simply IS NOT GOOD. American gov is a mess too in many ways but at least here in the USA we have more freedom and civil rights and liberties that people in many parts of the world could only dream of having. The USA and China are world's apart in that aspect. I enjoy listening to these people's perspectives in the video but they couldn't speak ill of the Chinese government even if they wanted to or they would likely pay dearly for it if they did when they did return to their country. It could also put their family in China in danger by doing so. This video is 12 years old....I wonder if these people still feel the same way if you asked them today? I doubt it!

Communism in china works and that's true. That's one way of controlling it's people with such a huge population they must have a grip on everything. But, don't apply your system to other nation, you cannot control south china sea. Legally you don't own that place it's just the name of south china sea. UN should change this name., change it into ASEAN SEA instead.

My issue with Communism is the state controls the countries goods, and this can (And will) be weaponised.
Whereas with Capitalism (Control of goods by multiple private individuals), they are only interested in selling the goods to make a profit, therefore would sell to anyone.

I am a populist. And I am likely to be the kind of person the state does not like. If I express this (and if the state desires), they can stop me from eating if I say the wrong thing. Whereas private individuals could not care what I say and do, so I am able to express what I wish, and still eat.

Which is better, to give a person something that can be weaponised in good faith? Or not to give them the option with no chance of weaponization?
