Hello. These are very mesmerizing shots. At first I thought that the motors could be controlled by radio, but most likely there would be a problem with the power supply. Perhaps it can somehow be solved using induction

as an engineer i work with metals and we always talk about them like they're these rigid lattice structures that break and slip over each other. i thought this was easy to imagine until i saw this video. It's so weird how it behaves like clay, and i can't wrap my head around the fact that the deformations are actually metal atoms "slipping" over each other and the grains being crushed. I guess it just goes to show how insanely small atoms are. It's always good to get a real-life sense of how anything works, rather than just reading about it. Always appreciate these videos.

Does the heat coming from the fastzr cuts ichange anything? Here the cut is slow, must be cold-ish

so i guess putting a powerbank in the chamber isnt viable, what happens if you put one in there?
maybe a transfer with rotating magnets in- and outside of the box or induction to drive the cutting?

SS can be sharpened so much more acutely than carbide. Carbide removes material subsequent to high edge pressures. HSS is sharper and cleaner it'd be so useful to see HSS doing what you did with carbide.

For a wind up cutting mechanism you should look into wind up tattoo machines. They offer higher torque and longer runtime for something like metal cutting than any watch mechanism I can think of

Instead of the electrical passthrough or windup, how about a battery powered stepper with a controller on a 5min time delay from hitting start? Or wirelessly triggered.
