Hi, How can we set the canonical dynamically?

Hi, is there a way to just use variables of the page, instead of doing an api request specifically for the metadata? It's so annoying compared to the way dynamic metadata worked in nextjs 12. I was used to just set the <meta> tags inside my components, as easy as that. This system is mind blowing.
Also I need to call my translation hook, to adapt the meta langage, it seems impossible with this app meta system
