If you do have the AV1 option, then give that a try! It’s the latest and greatest (and should be better than H.265!)
Ответитьgreat video. been slightly losing my mind with this stuff thank you for the info
ОтветитьIm considering Davinci Resolve 18, so far I love it. But the render button never highlights for me to add to render cue. I've followed exactly your instructions but no luck. Any ideas? (the render settings are the same)
Ответитьfor some reason when I rendered it only rendered it as an audio file? Is this due to rendering in MP4?
Ответитьthanks for this!
ОтветитьI've found that recording in 4k and then setting the bitrate to 120k comes out at 9 gig for a 40 minute video, then after upload to YT and going to download the file YT's compression has cut the file to 500 mb. So really, why bother. Oh, and YT is 1440p60 as a max anyway.
Ответитьbig help!
Ответитьnice instructions, thx for it
ОтветитьAs a Noob I was under the impression that if you raise the bit rate to above what your material actually is, it just gives you a larger file size and no real benefits. If I shot at 10000 uping the bit rate to 25k wont give me more detail just a larger file.
ОтветитьAfter rendering my video looks a lot darker. Could this be some sort of gamma issue?
Ответитьjust so you know, h265 has massive licensing issues attached with it which is why AV1 is becoming the standard
Ответитьi dont have a render tab
ОтветитьThis is great Alex thank you! It's strange however, why do I not have some of the same options you have? I am on an M1 Ultra Studio with decent power and running the paid Resolve Studio version. The dropdown for Quality>Automatic Best is not available, just "Automatic" Also, for the YT export, Resolve on my computer only goes up to 2K.... Thanks for the help!
ОтветитьThanks, I'll try your settings next time. I'm just starting in all of this and I got a bit disappointed when I saw the final videos on YT. The best I got so far was using QuickTime, H.264. upscaling 1080p to 1440p - this supposedly makes YT use a better codec vp09, then set the Quality to Best - it ended up having 115644kbps, so I guess that's good. But still it's not great... I'll try H.265 next time, I don't know if it will change the quality or just the size, I don't mind big files, but maybe YT does.
Ответитьi like Casey Farris he makes good tutorials i found him on Kevin stravert's channel!
ОтветитьThank you! i can't believe i almost paid $300 for final cut pro when this helped me do everything needed.
ОтветитьYour videos are an absolute godsend to me. Thank you!
ОтветитьWhat happens if you film in 4k and edit in 1080p what do you recommend rendering with? 4k it 1080p?
ОтветитьHello, and thanks for the very informative videos! I'm having a problem I cannot find anywhere. All videos seem to address lagging during render or playback, but the rendered final video is where I'm having the issue. What I mean is, I have zero lag in my games, my original video footage shows absolutely no lag, but when the video gets rendered anywhere, the final video quality shows lag in every second of the video as if the entire game were lagging. I'm very frustrated to the point that I can't even tell you what I'm ready to do to this program. Is there help for this particular problem? Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks again.
ОтветитьI have my Render Settings set - to bad you did not show me where to find these. Also speaking as fast as possible is useless for someone wanting to follow your instructions.
ОтветитьFor final render
HD 30,000 kbs/s
UHD 90,000 kb/s
Works like a charm for me
how did you get the render settingd up
Ответитьty boss
Ответитьthank you!
ОтветитьCan you pick your YT channel?
ОтветитьMind blown learned again !👍
ОтветитьMy DJI Mini 3 Pro can record video with up to 150 Mbit/s. So you still think, 60.000 is OK for 4k 30 fps?
ОтветитьGreat video Alex. You rock. Keep up the amazing work my friend. God bless!
ОтветитьHi Alex, as always, you provided the most comprehensive, still understandable content on this topic. Thank you! Cheers Martin
ОтветитьThank you for the video! I forgot to change 'Render' to 'Entire timeline' on the delivery page, which meant I only got one clip of the video I made. Good tip to make sure it renders the entire timeline instead of just one clip.
ОтветитьThank you so much for the video, very useful information and great explaining everything 🙏🏾📈👍🏽
ОтветитьRender page? Deliver page? No where to be found. It would be great if you could show us where these are. Thank you
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьI still struggle with DR.
I record with 2560x1440p (OBS).. put in 2560x1440p in DR. Then I render but the results are very bad. Low quality and very laggy.
Anyone knows how to solve this? My recordings from OBS seem all to be fine, super smooth.
Looks like something is happening during the render in DR what makes my videos look super bad.
Your videos have been so helpful, keep up the awesome work!!!
Ответитьthank youu brother..antony from kenya
ОтветитьThank you Alex. Very helpful.
ОтветитьNah! I prefer it manually, it's far more flexible that way, same with adding clips etc.
ОтветитьRender babyyyyyyyyy
ОтветитьThank youuu
ОтветитьThank you❤
ОтветитьThis is EXPORTING video. Not RENDERING video.
