How to use PIP (Picture in Picture) on a Samsung TV (8)

on my Samsung tv its the same as yours but my option it grayd out

Q70A 55" here (2022). I would like to make the picture in the picture even smaller (trying to game during commercials). Unlike the model is this video, where you go to size and can choose a smaller picture in the picture, my TV doesn't have that choice.

Can anyone explain how you choose your cable. the 2 options for me are air and cable but I get no signal

I have PIP on My Samsung 55" -
but looking at current models,
I can't find a model or brand with the option listed anywhere.
Now one can monitor PS4 downloading content that takes
forever while watching a movie.

What some don't realize - and friend fell into the trap - bringing non tuner Tv to the cabin,, then I have to tell him the bad news.
Not all Tv's have a Tuner. You'll need cable co box, or Over the Air Tuner.

It's easy to tell if there is no tuner - looking at the back - if there is no screw on cable Tv male end connection on back.
Game over,, no direct over the air possible w/o box.

This was the case for Over the Air where I had this 55"Samsung at the shop,
using over the Air Tv was very impressive HD.
The downside,, tons of commercials.

Ok I just purchased the 2020 85 inche and the only selections I have under picture is Picture Mode, Picture Size Settings abs Expert Settings. Even in my SmartThings app I am not able to connect devices.

Dude never mentions what model number the Samsung tv is. Not all Samsung Tv’s have the pip feature.

my 2018 55" qled tv (qe55q7fna) says "pip not available"!!! (It can't be my "geographical area" that's to blame, as a friend that lives down the road has pip in his tv.. So is it my model that's the problem, or some setting i have to choose to enable it??

What model of Samsung TV has PIP?

Sadly my tv from the living room seems not to have it.
It's a 40 inch MU6172 released in 2017 I think. One of those with a small remote with less than 15 buttons on it.
It's a shame it doesn't have it. Maybe samsung removed it on newer softwares.
