Nice video, each one should make a steps to be followed just like:
1-whenever you have a short you need to trace it with thermal cam to save time or else.
2-when removing a component measure if you still have the fault before replacing.
3-always work with your standard(if we have this we do this even if you have an experience, just double check no shame in that.
Thx for the video
I love your video in this case i can say, sometime you are hammer sometime you are nail
ОтветитьThis is real thank you!
ОтветитьThank you for showing the good AND the bad!
Ответитьi have a problem in my switch theres is a charging indication but the battery stay on 65% can you what do you think is the problem? more power and success silent viewers here 😅
ОтветитьIm always enjoy watching your every videos, great teaching and easy to learn. Assalamualaikum
ОтветитьSo my nintendo, 2nd hand bought, it works, got it on like 10% battery, plugged in it says charging and keeps it from discharging and works perfectly fine handheld and docked (plugged in ) but it will not charge up at all! I tried charging over night (multiple days with OEM and New charger ,docked and directly plugged in) the hard reset multiple ways ect.. replaced the battery , at 75% but still will not charge up (but shows charging) , just does like a pass through and keeps it from discharge, port looks fine .....any guess what this could be ??? Any ideas
Thanks
I enjoy these videos very much, as Krisna Bayu said, not only are you entertaining, you are also educating. I enjoy learning to repair electronics, and in 1 video, i realise that i am grossly underequipped and poorly educated on the matter. I dont repair for cash, just the experience
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьIt’s natural to be over confidence sometimes. Even happen with the biggest football player. We not god, that’s how we learn life … 😊
ОтветитьHello! My Nintendo Switch still stucked at 12V, not chargingor turnon...what could ir be? Can you helpme? Tks
Ответитьwhere is part 2? link?
ОтветитьNice vids, I use low melt solder when solder this connector to prevent the plastic melting on the back of the usb. 🙂👍
ОтветитьInterested in why your chip says PQ24193 instead of BQ24193?
ОтветитьIf you changed some parts and you are unable to repair them then will you still charge for parts or service?
Ответитьyour chat about time spent on a job reminds me of this joke which I tell customers regularly.
A ship engine failed and no one could fix it, so they brought in a guy with 40 years experience.
He inspected the engine very carefully, top to
bottom.
After looking things over, the guy reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer.
He gently tapped something. Instantly, the
engine burst back into life.
The engine was fixed!
7 Days later the owners got his bill for $10,000.
"What?!" the owners said. "You hardly did anything. Send us an itemised bill."
The reply simply said: Tapping with a hammer: $2 Knowing where to tap: $9,998
Don't ever underestimate experience.
What would it take to repair one of those chips instead of replacing it?
ОтветитьI have had a handful of switch become death traps. I have gotten so lost in a few, and it gets discouraging. How do you deal with that?
ОтветитьI learnt more from you thanks sir
ОтветитьDid you attempt the video/audio chip? (P13USB Chip) That can also prevent the switch from charging since it's also in the same circuitry as the power ic chip. It's worth swapping out before considering it a non-fixable board.
ОтветитьDo not take shortcuts - always check in a logical sequence
ОтветитьSometimes our experience makes us feel too confident in going in the wrong direction, taking the wrong steps or missing the right or necessary steps.
ОтветитьHello i have experience my switch not charging at all with any chager and i was planning to swap the m92t then a few hours later with a final attempt tried to charge then it charged again but my problem now is when docked no display only black screen on tv
Ответитьto protect nerbay components when using a heat gun could I use polyimide tape and aluminum foil or why is it better to use these silicon pads?
ОтветитьAmazing brother nice
ОтветитьI started watching this guy, he's real and upfront. No editing. He shows it as it happens. He shows that he's professional, experienced, but not perfect. I learned a lot from him and ordered from his site, so I can do the basic and possibly the hard repairs.
His videos are better than spending money for a school.
Long videos are better!
ОтветитьWhy did you remove the solder before desoldering. I always use 60/40 solder for my guitar soldering. Unleaded solder sucks
ОтветитьHi i try chance m92 chip but i Think i flow a filter away. Maby you know if im wrong. It is one of the 2 Black under the transistor on the right site of m92
ОтветитьWhat's the difference between low melt solder and leaded solder? I guess the low melt has an even lower melting point?
Lacking low melt, using leaded solder would help removing connectors as well, right?
You have to know when to pull off
ОтветитьOh, no, no, no you can't say "if not we will have to deem it a no fix" bc you get paid the same if you fix in one minute or 10 hours!! At that point in the video you were no where close to 10 hours!
ОтветитьCould you please add 2 camera for power supply and meletmiter
ОтветитьHow do none of the capacitors get picked up or slide away with the hear?
ОтветитьAlex, you put forward a lesson to learn from mistakes for the viewers 👍
Ответитьwell love to see part 2
Ответитьi now remove that water detection label before work on that área so i don't burn it and reuse it.
Ответитьcheck the other ic on the back the maxx
Ответитьthat soldering iron that You use is amazing. the tip always brilliant
ОтветитьWhen I read shorts in multiple circuits; I use a 5 or 6 thousand count multimeter, and the circuit or component that's reading the LOWEST resistance (in milli or micro ohms); I start with that circuit. Thus eliminating the very small resistance of the trace or other components in the circuit. Love the soldering skills.
ОтветитьI would love to see this this board repaired at any cost!
ОтветитьYou learn alot from failure
ОтветитьI love your videos. You gracefully show how mistakes can be a strength when we can admit them and learn from them. You sir demonstrate the soft skills of trouble shooting very well.
ОтветитьDude looks like if jayz two cents and jon stewart had a bb
ОтветитьFixing is high level skill
ОтветитьBro the cap by the bq chip is normal value 1.1v drop thats the 2019 model motherboard and the values by the max ic is low resistance
ОтветитьI kept asking myself through this video why not inject 1V and see what is getting hot with a thermal cam.
I enjoy watching these videos even when you struggle. I think you probably know more about the switches than most
is it safe to inject 1.25v into consoles or should it be lower?
