FORMULA FOR HOW MUCH CONCRETE YOU NEED ⬇️
Multiply - Length x width x height in feet and divide by 27. This will give you the cubic yards. Then divide that number by .022. That is the cubic yards in an 80 lbs bag of concrete.
Helpful, thanks
ОтветитьHi guys bloody awesome work and a great way to put a slab down so I'm going to try your method using quick set concrete for a step 😊keep up the new ideas and awesome work cheers
ОтветитьOk, this was exactly what I was interested in doing. Everyone told me that I could not dry pour. This makes my cement step addition possible. Thank you for showing us and explaining about the reinforcement also!
ОтветитьThis inspired me to begin planning to do this with my patio!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing - I'm looking forward to try it! It looks great 👏👏👏😃🎉🎉
ОтветитьPretty awesome, great video, especially the paint roller:)
ОтветитьImpressed is an understament! Love it!
ОтветитьAmazing job never knew can do that 👏👏👏
Ответитьfuxxx million dollors ' patent. thanks a lot. I got a build my back yard concrete slab for laundry room. saving huge money.
ОтветитьI was skeptical about your idea, but you've proven it works. I'll try on my sidewalk
ОтветитьOne question ?
Why wouldn’t you start the pour under the door sill ? Then you could box out for a step instead of having an empty space under the door sill? Just a suggestion. I liked what and how you folks did the pour though. 👍🏼
I’m so confused. How come you didn’t mix water but it still turned liquid and nice ? So your telling me I could do the same ? Pour dry and than spray water on top & it will turn like this !??
ОтветитьDry poured a landing and step support for my deck. Also the deck posts.
Ответитьgreat tutorial, think we will give it a try, thanks for sharing
ОтветитьWas the screen something that you made?
ОтветитьSssoooo show me a picture of how it looks today
ОтветитьI have question regarding filling in the pockets or holes as you’re smoothing out the dry pour…. Can I use the Quik Cement Repair Setting that comes in a 10lb bucket? It has no rocks in it and I thought that would be a perfect fill in for your slab.
ОтветитьLove the video. At 55 seconds, the "less than" symbol should be in the opposite direction (< $60).
ОтветитьThis is a great video. I never knew you could do this - although I have thought about it. I need to lay down a lot of landscape curbing. A good portion of it is on a slope and a curve. I was thinking about a wet pour, but I'm concerned that the concrete will flow down hill, even if very dry, which makes it hard to finish. What do you think about dry pouring it??
Ответитьi dont get it. whats wrong on mixing the concrete first and than pour it? i dont say this method shown isnt right, but i would prefer to know the whole concrete is soaked with enough water instead of spray it all over again for many hours. But for YT klicks and a wild comment section..... it works great!
ОтветитьThat guy have a comercial locutor voice
ОтветитьWould dry work on a wall? I would like to build a manure composting set up, with pad, and runners for the tractor approach, and a back wall about 4 feet tall to contain and push against. Any ideas for the wall with dry pour??
ОтветитьIve been in the construction trade sonce 2003 and have done quite a few pours. I definitely have nothing against this with these smaller do it yourself jobs and would be open to try it at home myself
ОтветитьImagine building a house with this process
ОтветитьI know you said it cost less than $60 but you used the "greater than" inequality sign.
ОтветитьWhen we built our home I was young, trim and so thin my one daughter told her school mate that I didn’t do crack, my moms just skinny. Like you I helped build everything, tossing 90# bags of cement (no rock included)
hay bales, rolling boulders down a hill into the bed of my truck praying it didn’t go through the cab. I worked hard all my life. Well, my back finally gave out (about age 54) and totally changed everything. Just want to let you know, let him carry and toss those heavy bags and even if you can, don’t. It effects EVERYTHING about your life once you lose your strong healthy back.
On another note, I’m very proud of you and like you appear to, I loved doing all those things too. Keep up the good work and have fun doing it. I really enjoyed seeing how you did this slab. I’m almost 80 and find I need to remove and replace a section of my walkway to repair a broken pipe located under the slab.
I’d pay someone else but they often mess it up worse than I can plus, I’m cheaper to hire.
Get that lady a wheelbarrow for Christmas. nice work
ОтветитьA real good job dad n mom...
ОтветитьWhat if it is about to rain and I have only completed one wetting of the three needed, should I cover or leave open to the element?
ОтветитьWhy dont you make a video where you "Dry Pour" a firepit. Make a round mold with another round mold in the center, put in the dry mix and water.... lets experiment and see if you can do it!
ОтветитьHello, did you have to get permits to put in that slab?
ОтветитьAmazing video! Im saving this for a future project❤
ОтветитьWhy the 2x4s laying flat.....never seen any framing like this but if it works for you then cool....but they are easier and better ways.
ОтветитьGreat job, I was looking at 18 w x 20L dog kennel
Ответить"It's always been done that way"
That's exactly why I watch these videos. I'm not a professional. I don't need every project I do to last 30 years. Sometimes I need it cheap and I need it now. I get tired of stuff fast so I'm all for doing things in new ways. As long as it's safe, I don't see any problem with this method or the thickness of the slab. I can't wait to do this under my chicken coop
Had no idea I was going to be watching a video on concrete. Very nice job.
ОтветитьGreat Job 🥰
ОтветитьWhy is she doing most of the hard work...
ОтветитьLove it when woman does stuff like this. Most women wouldn't even pick a leave up or wash a car
ОтветитьIf you break out the concrete, it will seem like sand
ОтветитьI’m going to do this on a section of my driveway. It’s completely caved in and cracked. It’s only about four feet by three feet or so.
ОтветитьThanks a lot for a great and inspirational video. I'm ready to do our small slab now.😊
ОтветитьWow! - No Rebar or Metal Screen held off the Dirt. Best Wishes until It Breaks.
ОтветитьI drive a ford. 🙂
ОтветитьI’d never heard about this!! Thank you. I’m goin to get busy!😊
ОтветитьIs it cheaper than having a couple of ton ready mix delivered? Just saying. 😁
ОтветитьHow many bag did you use on 5' x5' ?
ОтветитьWhat do I DO with Mahlzeit hands
