These are motivational soundbites which can help you get your first job or perhaps your first managerial job but does very little higher up the chain. In fact, a robotic, neurotic and almost cocky approach will guarantee you a FAILED job interview! The problem that most of these motivational channels fail to mention that the final interview has ZERO to do with how motivational you are, it`s all about whether they like you or how well they think you fit the role. It`s a flip of the coin essentially!

Great video and explanation of concepts. I have always found helpful when a candidate gives me a nugget of information that is intruding and off the beaten path. That creates a differentiation between them and others. I will remember them because of that unique piece of information. Relating interesting things you have done in the past and how it propelled your career journey forward is a important connection during an interview in my opinion.
