I'll craft it eventually, but I don't really see the appeal based on the perks it has. I already have a god-roll fatebringer (time lost), solid rose rolls, crafted austringer, and not to mention Ace. I guess it's fine if you don't have anything better and other streamers gotta hype shit up for that content.

Comparing most (all?) legendary Hand Cannons to Igneous Hammer isn’t much of a comparison. Probably should compare this new HC to Palindrome or Eyasluna.

While I understand your point of "Best hand cannon in the whole game" not being right, but comparing it to a Adept 120, which is way harder to get, so it's going to be stronger, felt a bit too weighed against it. Granted, I don't play PvP anymore, but I knew enough, and there is a distinct difference between the 2 frames. And also, if I remember correctly, there was a shift to how much range actually changes on a hand cannon (not talking about the recent range changes, before this, like 5-6 months maybe), and that made range less viable, making stability a more favourable stat to invest in. I know you most likely won't, but maybe try Kept Confidence with a split Range/Stability roll. Idk, I couldn't really care, I haven't played PvP since like 30th Anniversary I think, or Haunted, whichever added SBMM back into Control before AE, I stopped the season before SBMM.

Who cares about damage? The Kept Confidence and the Hammer both 3 shot killed Guardians from full. The damage literally doesn't matter then. Its RPM there. Or at least accuracy. Which I find it hilarious he said look at the accuracy, and proceeds to miss 3 shots. Also Hammer was Adept, a Trials Flawless weapon so I would hope and expect THAT would be better for PvP when it was a PvP reward

killing wind is so unnecessary in that gun, just use quickdraw, it already has very good range

I tried Kept Confidence myself today and, while i'm not quite sold on it yet, I can clearly see the appeal. The sights and the snappy sound, it just feels crisp like your favorite potato chip. Igneous is more like a steak fry, thick and meaty but just as delicious. ^^

Kept Confidence just doesn't feel right to me, like it's missing some pizzazz. Dunno why. Maybe I'm just spoiled for choice.

I love the sound, the feel, the look, but hate the perk pool. I feel like it got robbed perk wise, no outlaw/rapidhit not even keep away for reload, and a strand hand cannon without hatchling is actual idiocy, instead we got (L.O.L.) Invisible Hand (actual trash), Air Assault, Gutshot, Thresh??

Like I get it's just a seasonal weapon and not a raid weapon so it's not going to be loaded with broken perk combos, but...not being total trash would be nice.
People are slapping Quickdraw/KillingWind on it with Eye of the Storm and calling it a godroll, which is IMO some high quality early D2 double primary was good level copium. (and that might be a good combo on it, but it has nothing else, speaking as a PvE player)

its not a fair test honestly, because hammer is in energy and the other one is kinetic slot, so lets say your using a energy sniper/shotgun what kinetic handcannon would you rock?

crafted it after watching this and been rocking it in iron banner, gotta say its growing on me for sure, and i don't even have the advanced perks yet! lol

Yeah comparing it with Igneous is not the way man one's a 140 and the other's a 120.

Better comparisons would have been one of the absolute metric fuckton of 140 that we already have in the game.
Even when you only consider the Kinetic slot we currently have a staggering 9 different HCs and 11 if we also count Adept/Timelost.

Personally I'd say that almost half of even this small selection of Handcannons is already better than Kept Confidence.

- Spare Rations wins out in the feel department no questions asked, it just feels sublime
- Rose overall is just a monster + Lightweight Frame is a biiig boost.
- Austringer is also Craftable and imo with better perks and a better stat package to boot (Austringer imo would have been the best comparison here, as both are craftable and competing for the same slot)
- Eyasluna Overall once again is a stat monster, though for many people it's feel is hit or miss
- Fatebringer (especially Timelost) just shits on Kept Confidence is basically every aspect - while both have similar Range stats Fatebringer has intrinsically higher Stability, Handling, Reload Speed, Aim Assist and Recoil direction. In addition to having a far stronger Perkpool of combos like Explosive + Opening Shot or Eye of the Storm.

And those are only the Kinetic Slot 140s that I'd consider to be better.

Fallout you should know by now that you never go full bore on a hand cannon now adays
