The Tata Sons has won the final bid for acquiring the national airlines Air India, right after the government finalised minimum reserve price for the cash-strapped airline. Reports indicate that the bid submitted by Tata Sons was Rs 3,000 crore more than the minimum reserve price set by the government committee based on cash flow projections and brand value slots.The Tata Group had placed the highest bid for Air India. According to the sources the disinvestment rollout will follow up in the next few days, and by December, the government plans to finish the handover of the airlines to the Tatas.
