What quilting machine on the much smaller size do you recommend?
ОтветитьHi, I bought a fat quarter of African faberic that's bright, beautiful and mostly large print. I'm still a new quilter. What kind of pattern do you recommend? I have to quilt by the square and then attach. I really want to use these unusual print fat quarters. Help!
ОтветитьI really love this quilt, it’s so colorful!
ОтветитьBeautiful fabrics!
ОтветитьNádherné látky ,škoda že u nás v Česku není takový výběr .
ОтветитьIt's a beauty! Love the Laurel Burch fabric. Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьI bought pattern this to modify the size for a quilt for my grandson. I am very thankful you created this video because the company's instructions are very difficult to follow if you don't use a 10" square to start with. Maybe reach out to the company to let them know having a list of the individual piece sizes would make the directions easier to follow. I literally had to highlight the piece sizes at the end of each description segment. I've never bought a pattern before as I've done my own thing. But quilts for boys are a little more difficult than girls. I'm hoping he uses it longer than a normal baby quilt might be used.
ОтветитьSo pretty! Clever pattern. Nothing to fear about partial seaming.
ОтветитьHow does the machine know where to start on the quilt?
ОтветитьI never would have tried this quilt by looking at the quilt on the front of the pattern. In fact I didn’t even watch the video when it first came out but I am out of new videos to watch. Donna, you almost always pick better colors than what shows on the front of the patterns. I really like this one & can see myself making it with some special prints I don’t want to cut up too much. Thanks so much for your video tutorials Donna. It must be very time consuming to make them & the quilts. It’s very much appreciated & I’ve learned so much from you.
ОтветитьSaudades de assistir suas aulas
ОтветитьI can't find the layer cake fabric on your website???? 11/22/23
ОтветитьTo keep the thread trails from showing through, just clip them off!
ОтветитьIt looks great. I was interested to see how the black quilting would look. I always like to see the quilting and how you pick your thread color for the longarm quilting! Thanks a bunch!
ОтветитьBeautiful quilt. Love the colors and the black background. I like the black thread that you used on the quilt.
ОтветитьHi Donna! Love the bright quilt! Quick question ~ do you ever use black batting in a quilt when the background is black and the backing is predominately black?
ОтветитьI love this. It's a great easy pattern to use for a child's eye spy quilt. I'm curious why you never use a dark batting with your dark quilts? On the close up of the quilting machine starting up you can see the batting coming through a bit.
ОтветитьStunning quilt! Also great tips! Question - do you ever use variegated thread in your machine quilting? Thanks
ОтветитьTodos Tus trabajos son muy bellos gracias Gloria 🇦🇷🖐️👍😊
ОтветитьI just want to let you know that your tutorials are so inspiring— that you so much!
ОтветитьHow would it be to make the Triangles out of the same fabric as the blocks, rather than using black
ОтветитьI just got this pattern in the mail! Can’t wait to get started! Thanks Donna ❤
ОтветитьMay I live in your store? I’d love to access such a huge cutting/layout table. Having all that fabric at hand wouldn’t be horrible either! I’m making my first quilts. I’d love a video on how to prepare your quilt for taking to the long-arm quilter. I’m trimming tiny threads, adding fabric to the backing but guessing what needs to be done. Also, one has black for the backing. I’m think a lint roll brush is gifted with it.
ОтветитьHow do I get that layer cake? omg I just love it.
ОтветитьI miss seeing a new quilt each week. You are so amazing with your color choices. Please keep up the beautiful work you do.
ОтветитьI love the bright fabrics against the black❤
ОтветитьWhere can I find Laurel Burch fabrics????

ОтветитьLove this quilt! I am just getting back to quilting after 20 years. Thank you for all the tutorials!
ОтветитьBeautiful quilt. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьI’m making this quilt but need it to be for a king size. I’m thinking oh adding 2 rows of 9 squares in the middle then increasing the border as necessary. Will this work?
ОтветитьGood morning
I love what you are doing, it's very beautiful and I love it. The problem that I don't know how to read and I think there are others with the same problem. And I want you to start writing down the measurements you cut for each model please like this you help us sew the beautiful things you make thank you
I love your channel
Such a great pattern, I feel confident that I can do it with your tutorial! Thank you Donna
ОтветитьThe black looks great! I am working on a Karate quilt for grandson. Some black and some white uniforms. I don't know what color thread to choose. Now black looks good.
ОтветитьOh goody! I have a 1948 and a 1953 Singer sewing machines, and the way the fabric just “glides” is really nea! After the 1953 was serviced with a cleaning and new motor, it runs like a champ. I played with it by just making circles and lines this way and that way. Thank you for your inspirational video! : )
ОтветитьDonna, you are such a WONDERFUL teacher. Thank you. I appreciate you! ❤
ОтветитьDonna, I love both of those quilts. So pretty.
