Hi there! If you want to ad 1 light when filming how do you measure the light? I tried to measure the way you do for photography, my nikon d800 handle it well but my canon g16 with the same lightmeter settings my face we're 3 steps overexposed, why?

Now I know I can create a professional looking interview with a camera + a black background + a light positioned at different angles. I'm much less stressed now. 🤣👍

Is there some kind of settings on the camera that allows just you to be seen and not the rest of the room behind you? In the clips where you show the light and camera positioning the entire room is lit up, so I am wondering how you get the effect where just your face and upper body are lit and visible but nothing else about the room is. I have a newbie question. I love the way your background is completely gone. I've been trying to do this with a wall in my guitar studio that is all black felt. But you can always see the felt background in my videos. How do you get your background to be completely removed? For example when you pull away in your larger views where you can see your light and the camera, you can see your background is all wrinkled. Yet again you don't see that in your close-up shots.

Does that have more to do with your f-stop and camera settings? Thanks and greet video.
