I'd like to think Brennan changed the bit from buying a Corvette to eating a deviled egg because he refuses to give voice to capitalist materialism out of principle, even as a bit.

This is like an ADHD simulator, just jumping from an impulsive thought about buying a Corvette, then worrying about the state of the world, to suddenly a battle of internal monologues on whether to eat an old deviled egg.

The entire thing is golden but I find it really funny how you can see Brennan stand there blinking. There looks like half a second where thoughts turn off, and then the idea of the deviled egg starts developing.

The boyish glee in "oh you threw up right away" brings me back to fifth grade
