I worked for a Mary Kay lady once. She paid me to restock her items and organize everything. I remember her telling me that I could get employee discounts and she could put me on the products if I wanted to. I was 16 and I had absolutely no interest in Mary Kay. She would tell me how I can do the same thing and get a car out of it. I remember going there to re-organize the same stuff over and over. She really didn’t sell a lot, but was convinced that people absolutely needed and wanted the products. I’m really glad I knew better, but I still feel bad for her. I hope she’s doing OK right now. She was nice.
