Benchmarking Polars vs Python on Big Data 2 billion rows

Does Polars have any other edge against Pandas other than processing speed?

Can you compare it with pandas on pyspark api?

Can you use it with a proper cluster?

Polars is faster, but requires more resources. Pandas is slower yet, unsurprisingly, requires fewer resources. Is that the point here? Seems to me that they're both great, it just depends on what you need...
