As education requirements seem to plummet in the United States, the workforce gets lazier and dare I say less intelligent. The less educated and unmotivated workforce will continue to put out substandard goods. You have boobs designing products who shouldn't be designing products but hiring to check a box is another real issue.

After owning 2 GM cars this doesn't surprise me. I'm one of the people who switched to Toyota because of GM.I'm amazed that people keep buying GM garbage.

We should steer clear of EVs, unless we like being really hot and smoking, (without cigarettes or weed). EVs are responsible for more global climate change pollutants than the original planet killing ICE cars. (ICE=Internal Combustion Engine).

The real blazer generation ended in 1991...some things don't change and this pile of plastic and tinfoil they call a blazer nowadays is a disgrace to the US auto industry

Wow. I actually thought of waiting for this instead of jumping on a 2023 Mach E GT since i was kinda digging the pre-production styling. So glad i didnt. Our Mach E now has 23K gas free miles and not once taken in for maintenance.

I'm pretty sure that despite the use of the word sport in the Chevrolet "RS" or "Rally Sport", it was only ever a cosmetic trim package with such things as blacked out grills, revised tail lights, badges, and other bits that had absolutely no effect on the actual performance of any model produced over the years with that package.

If you wanted an actual improvement in performance, you needed to get the likes of the "SS" package, if offered.

GM went in this direction because Google probably paid them millions, or billions as with Apple, to get your data. Google loves your data and will spend lots of money trying to get it, as long as they don’t have to give any of it to you.

Electric Automobiles are tanking fast! I, along with many others, have said from the beginning of Biden's brain fart, this will never work in today's day and age! The technology is simply not there, our electric grid cannot handle the demand, the limited range is pathetic, and all at a premium price...RIDICULOUS! Maybe in 50 years we'll have the technology in place to support EVs!...

Why anyone would even remotely consider buying an electric car is beyond comprehension.

I find that the pinnacle of car design, reliability, durability and ease of maintenance, without all the crazy high tech stuff is the 2005-2010 models. I've got a 2004 Grand Marquis, 2008 ES350, 2008 Highlander and now I'm looking for a decent 2007 Sequoia.

I'm only laughing, because I did my paper in college, back in the 90s.... On the Chevy blazer. Because it was the most common vehicle on the market..... And I know I would be fixing a lot of them.

As a computer tech the instant I saw the "google screen" I don't need to hear any more. I know the managers and execs at GM, just like every other corporation on earth, have computers on their desks with the associated bugs, glitches, updates that are a part of computer life. The idea that you think it's a good idea to put that front and center in your car tells me all I need to know and I don't need to know anything more.

The reason that GM chose to eliminate android auto and Apple CarPlay is because they are data collecting as much as possible, and Apple out of the two makes it much more harder to collect data from customers so away around, this is to remove the freedom of choice and for them to have more control the results are extremely poorly built software from GM and the lack of understanding of customers who already have a hard time giving technology a chance downloading apps and barely getting comfortable with what they have and now they have to login download more apps through a third-party software when you could easily just use your phone if you plug it in to do this

The reason for the google switch is so GM can charge you for apps. It’s just another way to make more money off the costumer.

As a mechanic I have found that there is not logic or sense or reason for EVs to even be on the road right now. They are what I would call a fire trap. You get in a wreck the power is out and you can't simply remove yourself from the car because the doors are all electric and because the battery is compromised it bursts into a violent flaming ball kill anyone inside. And if there's any at all wrong with the battery like say you bottom out like you do with any vehicle and it will total the car. Its ridiculous and unsettling to think these cars are supposedly the future. I'm never getting into one nor will I ever work on one.

Looks like a few software kinks which will be fixed in Production version, no biggie.

Governments and environmentalists keep pushing for an all EV world but it has been proven that most people don’t want them. Yet they keep pushing them out.

So sad they’re not putting any money into qa now. I own a 2017 Volt and it’s amazing. A few days ago a tree literally fell on it and it came out unscathed. I was really sad when they discontinued it 😢.

GM is junk, i bought 2 and got rid of them as soon as i could, traded them in for 2 hondas, and haven't looked back.

I live in the US and I wouldn't buy any new car right now. Mostly because of the prices. My daily driver is an 03 Camry and i wouldnt trade it for anything right now.
