Nice Tutorials
Ответить100% legit reverb did alot on my kick track thanks alot..
ОтветитьThese videos are obviously a lowkey plug for your products but theyre also super helpful so i appreciate you for that.
ОтветитьNice. Thanks.
ОтветитьWhat do I do with my kicks? I replace them until I replace them again with yet another one :D
ОтветитьOh I gotta put some reverb on my kick, wtf. That was fire!
ОтветитьSpring reverb on kicks? I'll have to try that one.
ОтветитьCool stuff! Im also very curious about the source of the kickdrum, like the how the raw kick sounds like. I assume it was aldready pretty processed befor these tricks?
Ответитьwhich drum is used? so fat and big!!! wow
Ответить3 ways to get a HuGE WHAT ??!? oh nevermind..
ОтветитьInstead of using a clip plugin, could you use a distressor?
ОтветитьGreat video. Which kick samples are these? Sounds smacking.
ОтветитьSeems like step 1 is to record an amazing sounding kick lol
ОтветитьDamn the reverb trick sounds really good, gotta try that!
ОтветитьPultec style eq's are nice on kicks
ОтветитьI just wanted to thank you for everything you've done for music production during all these years.
Ответитьtop guy, whats a great limiter for topdown mixing any ideas, something that you can drive hard into
ОтветитьIf my ears still do not fail me, this effect is well marked after the guitar solo, in Domination (Pantera) right? Great video, thanks for sharing the tip!
ОтветитьToo bad I don’t use buses
I’m still using GarageBand
Cool, I'll keep this in mind next time I decide to rip off Pantera's Domination using drum samples, like you did here.
ОтветитьMy rotten brain read "3 Ways Are A HUGE kick!"
ОтветитьNo Cubase? Are you prefer if Reaper these days?
ОтветитьI loved the video
the characteristic sound reminds me - IGORRR - Downgrade Desert
the free effects bxboom followed by bx subfilter are great!
ОтветитьSuper rad vid! The riff reminds me of The Mirror haha
ОтветитьLoving these quick fix vids. Very helpful!!
Ответитьi hear a GGD there, Nolly is friggin amazin'
ОтветитьGreat tips!
ОтветитьAnyone else read the title wrong? .....
ОтветитьI get huge kicks out of laying banana peels on flights of stairs .
ОтветитьThe hell with the kick, I want the guitar sound in this vid.....lol
ОтветитьYour production is bad ass Joey! Great job with asking Alexandria. Could you do a tutorial on how to get some of those vocals?
ОтветитьREVERB + ROCK KICK = OP
ОтветитьJST clip is a desert island plugin. great vid
ОтветитьFake video joey mix only with cubase 6 xD
ОтветитьWhat daw is that? Never seen that interface before.
ОтветитьAlways teaching us something new Joey! your awesome!! I wanna get you on Daves Show!
ОтветитьAre you using reaper now?
ОтветитьYo I've actually been needing this video for like a week! Thanks Joey!
ОтветитьAs a guitar player, I’ll never get tired of drum videos since it’s not necessarily my forte. I liked the bit about clipping a lot but am curious as to how clipping might differ in this scenario as opposed to using some form of saturation like saturn or a decapitator? Great video man.
ОтветитьPlz do this video for that snare cuz im in love
ОтветитьInstead of reinforcing with a sample, I like to Parallel process a compressed version of the same kick. I also do this with the snare. Mainly for personal projects. I plan to waste a couple hours playing with the reverb idea tonight.
ОтветитьIt never crossed to my mind put reverb in a Kick, genious!
ОтветитьDefinitely do more of those! I really dig the way you are going now with all your videos. :)
ОтветитьFor that first kick sound, you are cutting the frequency already lacking midrange.
ОтветитьFor me scooping the mids makes it sound thinner, but I'm gonna keep watching and see where you're getting at.
Ответитьэто охуенный туториал
Ответитьloving these!
