Having owned a couple Miatas and driven 1.9L Z3s, the 2.5L Z3 is a big step up. No more buzzy gutless 4 cylinder. The 2.5L makes plenty of torque and is a great lazy cruiser.

I was shopping for a Miata, but ended up buying this smooth revving 2.5L Z3. It has 190K miles, but it feels like 60K. The previous owner maintained it well, and I did the following upon purchase:

1. GRAF Water Pump, Continental serpentine belt, AC belt
2. NGK BKR6EQUP Platinum Spark Plugs
3. Victor Reinz Valve Cover Gasket, Grommets, Oil Fillter Gasket
4. Generic eBay Motor Mounts
5. Generic eBay Front Brake Pads
6. Hengst Fuel Filter
7. Redline Transmission fluid
8. Redline Differential fluid
