This movie is a total classical american bs.fairy-tail. First of all it was Regazzoni who brings Niki in Ferrari. Second of all if you have the lucky to listen to the people who lived that era (Mauro Forghieri, Jackie Stewart, Arturo Merzario, Jacky Ickx, Niki Lauda himself) they will tell you how this movie is a terrible depiction of that era and how the pilots (James Hunt in first) were totally different from the characters told by this particular insignificant movie.

Such a small scene, but I love the development of the relationship between Niki and the mechanics. The workers are undoubtedly going to be aggravated at Niki (the boss), who makes them work hard till sunrise the next morning. However, after working so hard, they are ecstatic when they see the fruits of their labor, and they know their effort was worth it when they even doubted it ("no chance" "I don't know clay he just wants you to take it for a spin") and have a newly gained respect for Niki. In life, there is nothing more satisfying than a Job well done (in this case, 2.3 seconds a lap).
