As Snake once said: "You're pretty good.". To be honest Maruder is my favourite enemy, he looks so badass and actually quite fair to combat (compared to a mf called cyber muncubus when you are out of blood punches)

This guy is a painnn in the asss.. i diedd alooott... aloooott. First time i killed him i thought ..ah nw iam never have to deal with him again.. but nooo... had to come back again in later levels

Even though you can dispatch the marauder fairly easy on ultra nightmare the marauder can be a bit of a challenge when in slayer gates. Best example, the cultist bases slayer gate, it's a hard one with multiple dread nights, stalkers, the snake lady and 2 marauders that spawn in together with the rampage happening already. I died about 40 times before clearing that gate, it's the most trouble I've ran into on ultra nightmare.

I remember when this game came out and the marauder was controversial, even then ppl knew about the SS + Balista combo or rockets + Balista. Shoot the marauder with SS, q switch, done in one cycle if the timing is right.
