Half the stuff he talks about is just guessing , not facts , not tested or anything , I've used IObit programs like Advanced SystemCare Ultimate , Driver Booster and Uninstaller , and I am completely happy with them - Advanced SystemCare Ultimate works like an Antivirus program as well . Driver Booster DOES look up and install newer drivers where needed. So far I have been using them for years on a few different PC and laptops and have recommended them or installed them to a few people and also no problems so far , I use some of them on work PC and laptop and also no problem. SO dude , probably actually do some testing before saying " OO this program is a scam " " O this program does nothing " and so on.

I've used Driver booster pro (had a subscription) in the past and it was actually really helpful, but genenrally I agree with you, its all scams.

As the tech guy of the family, Driver booster came in clutch in fixing driver related problems many times, like a broken camera or finger print scanner or audio. It saves you the hassle of looking for the driver manually. And then ofcourse uninstall right after you update the desired driver.

I just downloaded driver booster about 20min ago and it completely destroyed my pc and sent me to blue screen of death and now I have to bloody reset it with usb from scratch
(Don’t download driver updaters)

Your web page has Driver Booster Pro as a dangle picture for scams . I want to tell you personally i have used Driver Booster for over 10 years as a quick way alleviate my driver problem's on all 6 of my computers.
So without watching your drama video , ide say your the one who needs an update and out of your league if you dont know its value by now.

Io bit is full of malware bc my mom's PC performance slowed by a bunch

Ironically I use Advanced System Care cause of mini-performance monitor which I can end task real quick
and nothing else but junk cleaner, I kinda hardwired about this feature all around years of using PC.
I don't pay any cent for them tbh I using the free pro licenses I scour and search to internet


I use Task Manager sometime for end executables startup tweaks, full performance monitor and service opener.

if anyone recommend me some mini performance monitor that doesn't hog so much i would be appreciate and uninstall ASC for good.

Norton Antivirus has become like a PUP to me. Every time I open it up I am bombarded with the newest threat to my safety and security, not to mention all the pop-ups I get with threat reminders that of course can be fixed if I add one more paid service to my account. I'm getting really sick of it. I have used them since the WIN 95 days and yes I have never had a virus, they did do that job correctly, but the way they are trying to get more and more money from me is really annoying.

I’ve been using it since 9 years and faced problems rarely. The problem is that you need to install 50+ drivers manually and you need to graduate from computer engineering in order to be able to update it all. Windows update sucks too. A pc user HAS to use it tbh.

I had problems with Driver Booster too. The drivers slowed down my PC and my internet speeds, it would disconnect me from the internet constantly.
I got into a meaningless argument with my internet service provider because of it. I fixed it by re-installing windows, DO NOT TRUST THESE OPTIMIZERS !

Iobit at 100 million is not a big number because they are a Chinese company. I use their products and they are very good..

So, Driver Booster actually dont install drivers?

Driver booster made my pc have high "system"cpu usage when idle.
I had to uninstall it, since it continuously ran in the background.
I think its not well optimised or sth.

Ive been using IObit's software for years now. They are a bit scammy, however their software itself is pretty solid and useful. Even if the initial premise of the software is bullshit, they do contains additional features which are actually useful. So i wouldnt say its useless.

My mom insists on using iobits junk like Driver Booster, Advanced SystemCare

IObit is actually not bad if you need auto driver updater. I use it all the time for new windows installs.
It saves a lot of time. Just be careful while installing, sometimes they ship PUPs with their installers.
They also have a decent uninstaller, if you require one.
Never use their advanced system care program, or whatever it's called, it's just as useless as every other program in this video.

I had a phone optimizer once, and I set a pin for my phone, and no I didn't forget, The app just locked me out, couldn't get into the phone for. A long time till I was able to escape from the lock...

I unfortunately tried updated my driver through iobit, and i think its broken now, anyway i can fix....?

Well , ccleaner is different from other fake optimisers. It is really helpful , u can test it and u will see that you will save a lot of storage

Yeah I stay away from optimizers and use the built in Disk Cleanup and Disk Defrag that is already in Windows because they take unnecessary storage space.

How do I fix it, it pressed the application enhancer and now most of the apps don’t work, since I selected them all
