Pitaka MagEZ Slider 2.0 Review | Great Magsafe 3in1 Charging System for iPhone 12/13 |

As an Android user, after a few days.. I have found some cons to this - at least on the newer version with the clip on the side that locks it in place... not sticky pad is not washable and reusable I had stuck it onto a desk thinking that was where I would like it permanently only to find out that it wasn't... upon trying to remove it and relocate it the glue literally ripped off of the bottom partially and it actually took off some of the crap from my desk so now not only does my desk have a nice big chunk missing from it from the top coding I had to remove the sticky coating from the bottom of the unit as a portion of it was already ripped off anyway.

So no sticky... I now have to hold the unit down every single time I want to remove my phone from it because it will just lift the entire unit in the air.

As far as the battery pack is concerned it does not fast charge or even regular charge hey Galaxy s23 Ultra... it will literally charge you at the regular slow charging which is probably under 5 Watts and literally says that it will take almost 3 hours to fill up your phone at 25% left and it won't even reach that much before the 4000 milliamp hour battery dies...

AND another thing to note is the degree of the pitch of the angle that they have the usb-c slot for the watch should actually be angled a little more because if your watch is not set on this thing 100% in every way shape or form and sludge just a little bit off of the charger nothing will charge it will charge stop charge stop charge stop charge stop because one of them has not been placed on it properly and thus it can't charge all of them at the same time I found this to only be a problem when using the watch dongle and making sure that it is properly set.

And it may just be me, or my phone/ case combo (s23 ultra with Torras magsafe case) but I noticed that while it's attempting to charge my phone the battery pack gets rather warm... not hot to the touch or anything but definitely noticeably warm like at least a little bit warmer than your average wireless charging accessory.

Not even 2 days in and the unit is partially damaged and I already sound a serious flaw for those that may use heavier watch bands and linked bracelets on their watches.

But this is Pitaka and I haven't an iPhone.
But even as an Android User it only took me two days to realize that this is your typical shit quality from Pitaka. One of those brands that started charging over amount of prices for the lack of what they gave you under the term luxury and premium... I wonder if this is one of those companies that also used to sell 5-year-old iPhones that were completely outdated but had some jewels and crusted on it and would charge people like $5,000.

To be fair and Frank I was never really a fan of their cases as they don't protect anything on the phone whatsoever but the back of the phone which nobody cares about and we usually only cover the back of the phone when it actually cracks and even though they apparently use this amarid fiber... I have never had a case from them last as they just Frey and crack and fall apart way too easily especially if you live in a colder environment like I add when I was living in the state of Maine near Canada and only a boat's drive away from Nova Scotia.

After usage I can state that I probably would not have paid more than $75 - $85 for this... definitely not the almost 150 + dongle charge.
Definitely not that much for a charger with outdated Qi technology but includes MFI in a dongle. ( yes my watch still charged as it should uncharged fast I purchased was from a different company and not from Pitaka so you know it works well)

But people must take my opinion with a grain of salt as previously mentioned I am not an iPhone user and these are not something dedicated to the Android user and ecosystem

The best thing about this is that it doesn't just work for iPhone if you use a magsafe compatible case on say your Samsung Galaxy s23 Ultra like what I have it will also work with this and they also sell an Android watch dongle that you can attach to the side as well.

This has been a win win for me.
The one thing I actually wanted from Apple is finally coming to the Androids and I couldn't be happier

does the charging station come with the portable battery pack or is it seperate?

Thanks for a great review. I was considering this but wasn’t sure about the MagSafe aspect. I found Pitaka’s website lacking in technical information. I wasn’t able to get an answer from them concerning the battery fitting an iPhone 13 mini. Yours is the first video I could find that actually shows the battery on the mini and your in-depth technical information is very welcomed. Too bad I wouldn’t be able to use it with my new Tekmomo car vent mount which I love.
