After the mission Legal Trouble FlyUS will drop about -%50. Sell after the mission Meltdown for about +%100. (I started with 7m~8m and doubled).

* I completed the story with ~$60m. Sold AUG for %124 about a week later (~$135m).

** I completed the rest of they assassination missions and did the Tinkle stock tip random hitchhiker last. Buy TNK before you pick him up (+%33).

Total about 6 billion each. Use Ammu-Nation (AMU) to hold extra cash as it does not seem to change value.

For whatever it's worth to whoever might care this was my first play through. Maxing out on cash is an unofficial achievement. More satisfying to achieve than most of the official.

Does this work with a ps4 and will it still be accurate in 2022?

I reloaded my save at the end of the game for the AUG Insurance and lost that amazing share

Don’t focus on the stock price, it’s irrelevant, focus on the profit %. Invest and sell when you reach the target, those won’t change, if you invest $1M and get a 50% profit you end up with $1,5M regardless of what the stock price was when you bought or sold it

You left out the hitchhiker's tinkle investment tip. Can get up to a 33 percent gain on that one.

This doesn't work for us PS3ers right now, because Rockstar terminated their association with Playstation, Rockstar online, GTA Online as of December 2021. When they did that, the BAWSAQ became inaccessible. I can only invest on the LCI right now.

thanks for the guide, i have got bout 500m on each character from this guide. which i have completed every mission except for the sub, car, strangers and freaks where you gotta go all over the map but you can profit quite a bit if you have already completed the game

For some reason my GRU prices are very low. Bought around $23/share after “Surveying the Score” and I’m struggling to get above $29/share after the “Fresh Meat” mission.

So your saying if i complete the big score and one of the finales i invest in augury and sleep for 3 to 4 days ill make 80 million?

I got 2B for each character and 1 last assassination mission to go... what should I do , my characters won't be able to handle the return percentage of the next mission

Substantial wealth is achievable regardless of when the Lester Assassination missions are completed. But saving all your money and waiting until the end to do it is the worst possible way to do it.

[This is a brief guide on the best ways to make money in GTA V Story Mode. Yes, I really did do all the math and research for this. For some reason... There is a short summary (TLDR) at the end— but if you have ever used a GTA V stock market guide, you'll most definitely be interested in hearing what I have to say.]

Assume you have $0 on all 3 characters before the credits roll. After the credits, you get $41M for each character (going with the highest take). If you immediately invest in AUG (on LCN) and sell a few days later, you double your money on all characters. Having $82M on each character before doing the last four of Lester's assassination missions means you will have over $3B on each character (after doing the relevant stock trades). If you save all of your money through the whole game, you can maybe push Michael up to $4B— that's all. It just isn't worth the extra effort.

Conversely, there is a better way, and then there is the best way. A better way is to spend as much of your money throughout the game as you want. Do all of the heists however you wish, and just save Lester's last 4 assassination missions for the $123M you get post-game to boost it up to $9B. This is the way to do it if you want the most money. If you absolutely need more than $9B total, invest it all in some cheap LCN stock and save/sleep until that stock goes up 10%, 50%, 100%— then sell to get those absurdly long and meaningless numbers you so desperately crave. But trust me, that's not the best way....

By the time the first Lester mission pops up for Franklin (before Blitz Play), the characters can already have acquired:
F - $1,083,839
M - $3,239,573
T - $499,500
Many game guides tell you how to do this. Just follow those guides, but ignore their terrible "wait until the end" advice. Once you get that seed money, go ahead and do all the Lester missions and stock trades as soon as the first Lester mission pops up. After all five assassination missions, assuming you did the stock trades right, you will end up with:
F - $140M
M - $418M
T - $64M

After that, buy up ammo and put all of your money into Vangelico's stock before the mission "Cadre Libre." Sell your stock after the mission "Minor Turbulence," when it peaks at 42% profit, bringing your total on each character to:
F - $198M
M - $594M
T - $91M
Keep in mind that you are still getting at least $30M on each character at the end of the game, and you still get to double your money using the Augury Insurance stock. Go nuts, buy everything if you want, and enjoy driving in your pimped out rides and using your blinged out weaponry as you complete the last half of the game's story missions (the best half, in my opinion).

Seriously, the most you'll spend with Franklin is $77M, only 38% of his wealth. The most you'll spend with Michael is $241.1M, around 48% of his wealth. And the most you'll spend with Trevor is $73.1M, about 78% of his wealth. You can literally buy everything at this point and still walk into the endgame with at least:
F - $120.9M
M - $311.2M
T - $19.6M
On top of that, you'll be getting an extra $30M for each character, and after doubling their money through the Augury Insurance stock, their boosted endgame total will be:
F - $301.9M
M - $682.4M
T - $99.3M

That's $1B divided among the three characters. This way, you actually get to enjoy your obscene wealth during the story. How ironic. The Stock Market Assassination Missions have choices A, B, and C as well, on how to utilize those missions for serious profit. But, as I have just explained, everyone is making the worst possible choice.

TLDR—

Players have 3 choices -

A: Never spend money, and wait until after the story is finished to make an obscenely large, game-breaking fortune that you can then, and only then, spend however you wish.

B: Spend all of your money throughout the story however you want, even down to $0, and still make an obscenely large game breaking fortune after the story is completed.

C: Accumulate a massive but manageable fortune in the middle of the story that allows you to buy everything in the game, and still end up with even more money after the story is completed.

You could also get $40000 with Trevor just simply stealing from the fleeca money trucks I did it that way and then did the bounty hunter missions netting myself almost $80000
