Bruh I already knew everything in this other than the minor scales and some of the other ones other than major scales I wasted my time I just thought I didn't know because the name was different
ОтветитьI never understand this. Is that mean that is the song is in Gdur than we must use ONLY notes that are inside that scale? And we musn't use notes that not exist in Gdur scale?
ОтветитьVinny? Is that you?
Ответитьvery impressive。 Thanks for the knowledge.
ОтветитьThanks
Ответитьvery useful for me. It strikes me that we come at music with bias, so not all notes are equal, we need phrases to resolve on certain notes, our brains should accept any note, then again if everything was equal, then music wouldn't be music it would be sound. Different cultures presumably have unrecognisable keys and alternative note resolution ideas. You've got me thinking, thankyou.
ОтветитьFirst video on this topic where I felt it click. Thank you!
ОтветитьI think you either have a music brain or you don't. Sadly I don't.
ОтветитьHelpful it was thank you teacher! 🤓
ОтветитьThank you … easy to follow .. I love your channel
Ответитьfor me, music theory is like math
i get lost 10 seconds in
But how do I know how the scale goes? I memorize it?
Ответитьreally clear explanation thank you so much
Ответитьlil Dicky?
is that you?
Thanks
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьSo how do we know in witch key we are with one chord? Couldn'it be in various keys?
ОтветитьVery useful information and explained well!
ОтветитьMusic theory is the craziest, weirdest sorcery to ever be invented. It makes sense, and doesn't make sense at all, at the same time.
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьI really want to learn bohemian rhapsody song. In what key is this song played and what major scale should I practice to play this song?
ОтветитьThanks well explained
ОтветитьI’ve just hopped into learning piano, so this video is a huge help to understand it’s different fundamentals, big thanks my dude 🙌
ОтветитьAll these musical terms and words are confusing and everything kinda goes over my head..
ОтветитьI saw you had a video and I haven't seen your channel recently. Even though I know this, I thought this was one of the most complete explanations for a beginner. Good job.
ОтветитьAll this knowledge is impeccable bro👌this is really helpful, God bless you brother and keep inspiring aspiring music producers like me👊
ОтветитьThanks, it answered by question
ОтветитьWhat pitch means
Ответитьbro got no idea how much that helped ty
ОтветитьThank you very helpful 👍
ОтветитьGood useful lessons. Thx a lot. But you show and speak fast. I think Need a little slow down. So some people can accept and learn well. Imho.
ОтветитьHey
ОтветитьThank you for the help!! You are awesome!! ❤
ОтветитьWonderful job, thank You!
ОтветитьAmazing! thank you for explaining so clearly
ОтветитьThis is amazing thank you for the explanation
ОтветитьCan you explain how a key gets its name.
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьI'm confused can someone just tell me what, (A4-A5)(D-Bb) (D-Bb) is?
ОтветитьI still have trouble understanding this. In your G Major example when you showed the triads why did you play F sharp instead of F and why do the spacings differ between them. G > B > D has 4 steps and then 3. But from A > C > E it's reversed to create a minor chord. I don't get how minor chords can be in a major scale. It's very confusing.
ОтветитьI don't understand when someone says something is in the key of blank for 3 reasons:
1) What about all the modes like Lydian, Dorian, Mixolydian, etc?
If a song is in a mode do they say the mode along with the key like C Lydian, C Dorian, etc.? Or do they just say the song is in C and it can include all the modes and you just have to figure it out?
2) What about the different chord variations like augmented, diminished, suspended, etc. chords?
Can you not play these types of variation chords because they don't fit in the key if the chords include notes outside of the key or the song (chromatic notes)?
For instance, if an augmented or diminished, etc. chord has a sharp or flat in it. But the notes of the key or scale of the song don't contain these sharps or flats, will the chord sound bad?
Or you can still use these chords for the key of the song even if they include some chromatic notes?
After watching this video I think you said it's ok to use these types of chords.
3) What about when a song changes key during the song?
So many songs change keys. And certain bands like the Beatles and Radiohead make key changes a normal part of their songs.
So if a song changes keys why don't the musicians say this song is in the key of C then C minor, or F then A#, etc? Why do they always only say the song is in the key of blank (naming one note/key) even if the song changes keys?
This video was everything I needed!! So incredibly helpful and well done
Ответитьbravo and thank you!
ОтветитьPlease what does the minus -1 to 12 mean and the +1 to 12
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьAwesome video dude. Looked this up for a second explanation and it was exactly what I needed! Thanks!
ОтветитьNow make a video explaining this video please.
ОтветитьThis is exactly what I was looking for
