ABOUT

British death/thrash band OVERTHROW are returning with a new EP titled "Ascension Of The Entombed", which will be released on Friday 13th October 2023 through Redefining Darkness Records.

Formed in 2011 as a gritty thrash band in the London underground scene, OVERTHROW has evolved into an edgy, brutal, and merciless blackened death metal band. Their unique sound blends the ferocity of thrash metal and the dark cavernous accents of death metal.

Fueled by their strong work ethic and hunger for spreading their explosive sound, OVERTHROW have played numerous live shows, supporting epic names such as Midnight, Night Demon, and Diamond Head to name a few. Furthermore, OVERTHROW have been selected to play along side popular UK upstarts, Burner, supporting thrash legends Evile in London (December 9th), and just performed at Riff Fest in London (September 22nd).

Ascension Of The Entombed offers 4 tracks of unrelenting and powerful death/thrash metal. The EP was produced and engineered by Scott Bacon, and mixed/mastered by Harris Zourelidis (Dead Congregation).
