Wait, so you’re saying that is still worth to invest in US companies with the Stocks and Shares ISA account? I’ve always thought that it’s better to avoid the curse of the FX impact and since the Stocks and Shares ISA is not a multi currency account, I have always used dollars only with the regular Investing account

Ive got a few index funds on the go, its more weighted to the s&p 500 and just buy in each month. I dont have the right attitude to chase individual stocks, think about them too much.

I’m investing 50% S&P500, 40% world index fund and 10% individual stocks. Investing £300 per month and rising for the long term (+20 years)

Sit tight, hang on and enjoy the downs for opportunities as well as the ups for the easier thrills 😮

Im early days but investing good chunk of money each month. Im putting 500 minium a month plus Weekly payments of various ammounts so some months its 500 on 1st then 200 throughout month others could be more or less. I currently have s&p tech only (iitu) aswell as vanguard all world. I wish i had done this different and had either all world or whole s&p 500. I currently have 2k in my all world and 1.4k in (iitu) im thinking once my iitu comes back into green selling and putting that into all world. Or should i sell both and just get s&p

I'm guessing youre a tory or a reformist by the sound of your lack of shyness to political commentary. I'd appreciate leaving politics out of these videos as it rarely has much to do with at least technical analysis. However as you brought up politics i'm sorry but the torys broke the UK and the NHS for the past 15 years so

Hi Mitch, firstly love the content. Pitched at just the right level. I am a new investor (started on 1st Jan 24) I just wondered if you think I am doing my investing journey correctly? 😂 I am 55yrs old. I already receive a pension and am lucky enough to be able to work again growing a second DB pension for when I choose to retire again! I am lucky enough to own 3 properties that I rent out in the UK. I have started a T212 ISA in both cash and S/S. £5K in the cash ISA as my emergency pot. Then £15k in a S/S ISA. But I was always worried about being a tinkerer. So within the £15k 75% is in a the S&P 500. The other 25% is based on 15 dividend paying UK stocks that offer a bit of excitement seeing the dividends roll in every month. I am able to invest £500 per month into these stocks in the same proportions (75% and 25%). My plan is just to leave the S&P to grow and if I get the urge to tinker I can use the less expensive stocks to have some fun without messing it up too much.
Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Hi
Thank you for the video id like to ask a question
I’ve been following you since beginning and I see that in a video you say that you get bigger returns because even in bear market you invest or you doubled your investing each month. The other day I watched your monthly investing portfolio video and you say that you hold on some positions and stop putting more money in. Why do you put more money in some stock monthly even if it’s a bear market and why do you hold your position in others? Thank you for taking time explaining

I am trying to avoid making any new buys at this point in other not to get sucked into a bear market trap. It's tough making money in stocks when institutional investors are the driving force behind the selling.. although I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?

I understand there is a slight overlap but thats what im aiming for. I want the global diversification with a slightly larger weight in the US. im fairly young at 24 so im more willing to ride out any downs that come with the higher risk of NASDAQ100

I've put all my money into Global all cap, its about as diversified across the entire market as you can get. Sure the S&P has performed well and is continuing to do so, however you wont miss out with a all world index fund as you should still be exposed to the USA about 60% anyway. For me it makes sense to go all world over S&P because I'm still in my twenties and I plan to invest for decades, so what is to say America will still be top dog in 30+ years
