I've written exactly what you did Bro but I think there is an issue with the live server extension constantly refreshing the page so when I do an insert instead of incrementing by one in the id column it does by much more and the message I get is "Could not register user" but the user is actually registered. Just a heads up for the rest that might have the same issue.
