Where do you get ethanol free gas? I only saw it once for like 20 bux a gallon.🤔🍻
Ответитьthe choke is not wrong... its Chinese logic. you put it on off when the engine is off and you put it on on when the engine is on :)
ОтветитьThe trick to small engines like this, lawn mowers, weedeaters, give it full choke for a couple pulls, then half choke. When it starts, let it run with a little throttle to warm up. Once it starts to level off, flip the choke off and you're usually good to go. This video is a year old so I'm sure you've figured this out by now.
I see in any of your recent videos you're not running this motor. Did it give out, or was it too much added weight or just get in the way with all the other stuff you've got on the boat?
I bought a Hangkai 3.6 a few years ago for my inflatable pontoon. I broke the new motor in for about ten hours in my garage before taking it out for a test run. It ran great! I used it often with no issues. The key to success is to follow directions concerning break-in. I had watched so many videos where the purchaser took the motor straight from the box then onto the lake and invariably the owners ran the motors balls-to-the-wall. The motors let them down. DUH! Another point to make is that my motor came with the lower unit dry. FIRST THING: fill lower unit with hypoid oil like any other outboard motor.
ОтветитьYou need to let it warm up on half choke for a bit. Then it will run fine.
ОтветитьJust bought one today, largely based on your reviews. Will probably set it up the same way. Subscribed.
ОтветитьI can get 4 with my 65lb thrust. Going to have to try a 5hp
ОтветитьAnother great video! What pond is this at it looks like it’s off 84?
ОтветитьAnd Man will give an account of every idle word in the day of judgment, Jesus said. And come follow Me ❤️📖nkjv🙏🙂🕊🇺🇸🕊
ОтветитьNot motor inclined? It's load? Go for a large thrust electric motor and never worry about choke, carbs, buying fuel, winter storage or loudness.
ОтветитьCool video, was thinking, seems like I've read those engines are 2 stroke, oil mixed with the gas, is this a later version of the HangKai ? Have seen a couple with the Honda stickers. Thanks for posting, fun video.
ОтветитьThey rip off Honda cause Honda has a well established reputation of strong dependable motors across all avenues. Especially international
ОтветитьI just got one new going to do some upgrades before I put it in the water...
ОтветитьI am really suprised Honda hasn't put a stop to those stickers on that motor. They usually have an eye out for stuff like that. I couldn't handle all the noise that thing makes. I'd be curious to see how long it lasts.
ОтветитьWant to say thank you for all the great information on this tiny boat man you’ve steered me in the direction I need to be heading! I’m definitely buying this boat very soon
ОтветитьI have a 8 ft bps bass raider boat and I’m thinking about putting a 5hp on it is that okay?
ОтветитьNever seen one that cheap in my area
ОтветитьI have a 3.5 Mercury on my Sundophin Sportsman. I havent checked the speed yet but it goes about your speed while fully loaded with trolling motor, lithium battery, 3 rods and 170 pounds in lures
ОтветитьWhen you get down the river 10 miles, you need something for sure,
ОтветитьWassup fellow tiny boat enthusiast. Got a link for your SUP paddle?
Also, I saw some vids of guys that reinforced their transom. I did mine kinda like Zoffinger's, with HDPE and a torch. Not that I have any regrets, but think the angle of the motor mount is probably the main culprit of stress on the boat...gonna make some wedges and try to get it to plane level, (with me and gear in seated position).
"No way!" It's like people are still surprised stuff works when you buy it off market place hahahah. So many scams on there its insane lol.
ОтветитьTwo things , the weight and torque can break your transom. Second the movement and vibration can cause the motor fall off. Make sure the screw clamps are tight and check on them periodically.
