Sims 2 vs Sims 3 vs Sims 4 - Worlds

Only thing I actually like about the Sims 4 worlds is that the worlds actually feel big, like you actually live in a big city while in the Sims 2 and 3 it feels so small, like a play rug

Sims 2 and 3 design worlds like an Urban designer
Sims 4 designs buildings alone
I wish sims 4 were like sims 3 and sims 2 so we can be our own urban designer

Sims 3 for me, I can't even imagine playing a life sim that's not open world nowadays

The Sims 4 world's so needs a makeover. TS2 worlds all the way.

sims 4 words are trash tbh 😭

Sims 1: Without DLC, You can only build up to 8 houses
Sims 2: You can be able to freely customize a world.
Sims 3: You get an open world, but you cannot freely customize it.
Sims 4: You get multiple worlds that you can't freely customize.

The Sims 3 was the best game. I thought that The Sims 4 would be the mixture of 3 and 2, open world, emotions, recollections, etc. The Sims 4 looks like upgraded and modern The Sims 1... I love The Sims 3.

The limited features of TS4 worlds make the game not too fun because it lacks SimCity vibe.

Sims 4 feels so empty that you can't even create a world. The worse fact is that's a little world where you barely can build 4 houses in every world.
I love Sims 3 open worlds (I never sadly played that Sims game because I don't have money XD) and Sims 2 is not bad... It's way ahead of that era

I've always been curious about the neighbors' house in the sims 2. That's why when the sims 3 came out it was such a delight that you can go anywhere

Sims and open world is such a powerful combination sims 4 could be better if they had sims 3's open world and sims 2's adorable cutscenes

I hate the lack of realism in S4, we can see random Sims from another worlds, e.g. I'm there in Brindetlon Bay and then Eliza 😠 appears

ah yes, the worlds... easily sims 3's biggest advantage... and also the biggest disadvantage.

I feel like EA got so caught up on graphics with the sims 4 that they lost site of what it really is that there consumers like don’t get me wrong the graphics are great but the gameplay… it lacks.. and that’s where they messed up they should have gave a better combination of both

Combining all of franchises will sure require super high spec of computer, what they lack in the sims 4 are the fluids and sentimental thoughtful details in TS1 & TS2 which makes it very remarkable games, the way sims in TS 2 respond their surroundings is unmatched, but TS 4 did a very good job on CAS and buildmode modification, i'd say CAS TS 4 is the best one & TS 1 is the least (but that's sure very understandable), i don't think it's necessary to bring back the heavy graphic of TS3 but their system in gameplay such freedom in openworld is God tier. However the most annoying thing TS 4 do till today is launching broken unsatisfying updates.... THAT is what the next The Sims should not repeat

TS 1 & TS 2 are at different level of quality, they have deep layered means as a game, every elements in the game are given such toughtful works, very satisfying gameplay and sentimental details, while TS 3 tries to break the limits from the graphic and lift the system into more complex ones but turns out very heavy game size, TS 4 simplified it but too much simplifies that it gives many empty hollows here and there not to mantion they keep shoving people's face with new broken sells

You can't have a game that's all 3 combined so easily. EA can try, they can succeed, BUT, that doesn't mean everyone could play the game. My computer is quite good and Sims 4 with ultra graphics, with all the packs and a few thousands of ccs, runs between 15-20 fps. Not bad but not good. I can barely play sims 3 with medium graphics. If people want a game that looks so good and realistic, they're gonna get a base game that's probably going to have less things than Sims 4 base when it first came out. Also, CC's do quite a good job at making sims more realistic, even if people like it or not.

Sims 4 is very predictable during gameplay that’s why its boring

Sims 2 forever! Especially with the amazing modding community making crazy improvements and additions even now.

even with all the bugs and lag, sims 3 still drags sims 4 to the mud

it caused so many pains for the games optimisation (just bc it wasn't made well not by nature of being open world), but sims 3 worlds just feel so expansive and impressive looking at them from a bird's eye view like that. meanwhile even the lots themselves in sims 4 feel small and just..fake

Sims 3 wins hands down!! The open world is just a lottery ticket for me.

I'd like to remove useless expansion packs from sims 4. In my opinion ALL of expansion packs sims 3 and some expansion packs sims 4, which is really funner (for example, life in island, road to fame and other). This is my dream Sims.

If the sims 4 was open world, that would make the hand significantly better

Sims 2 had big worlds. And even if it was not an open world, we could add it, we could create our own worlds.
Sims 3 had open world and or gosh, it was so big and full of stuff to do.
Sims 4? No, thank you, you had your big and nice worlds. Now allow us to bring you shitty and small

I dunno why but sims 4 always felt like a big downgrade... i mean it had improved some stuff over sims 3 but most of it has gotten worse.

I hate that EA doesn't care about Sims 4 that much and makes the map limited, I can see Sims 3 had the advantage, as I liked editing Sunset Valley as well as going into certain places without loading screens.

the sims 3 open world is really cool. But I really hate that business, resto and closet system is not the same with sims 2. I can't eveN have my sims eat together there on the same table. And I can't buy clthes that I can put in my closet. Thats a major disapointment for me. But I love the university and generations sims 3 Also pets with horses with an open world is great.
