Why code blocks doesn't open some times ?

Pretty good intro but Infinite Skills is apparantly defunct at this date. So cannot view the free videos there.

Every time I build and run nothing happens I'm new guy on the block in programming

Each time i open a new project, it says that it wasn't able to "save it" and that it might be "write-protected". then the screen is gray without the new project.

This is what they are saying everytime I am trying to do the build and run process
"Bombom - Debug": The compiler's setup (GNU GCC Compiler) is invalid, so Code::Blocks cannot find/run the compiler.
Probably the toolchain path within the compiler options is not setup correctly?! (Do you have a compiler installed?)
Goto "Settings->Compiler...>Global compiler settings>GNU GCC Compiler->Toolchain executables" and fix the compiler's setup.
Skipping...
I did go to the compiler setting and fixed this thing but the message is still the same. :/ How do I get it run?

I have a problem with C++ code blocks. Whenever i create a new project my work sheet doesn't show up? It's empty - grey. I tried reinstall but it didn't help. How to do this? Is there something to do with view, something i need to check/uncheck?
