What made the German army so formidable was the teamwork and camaraderie among the soldiers. Each one was not fighting for their own glory, but for the fatherland and the glory of armed forces. This teamwork was akin to that of Roman army in ancient times, making them a formidable fighting force. An equivalence of such camaraderie and teamwork in today’s armed forces would be the United States Army.

My Great grandfather was one of these people.

Wir brauchen nicht darüber zu reden was Deutschland damals in Europa angerichtet hat. Das war schrecklich, Punkt. Aber damals waren wir wenigstens noch eine stolze und starke Nation. Den schwachen und weichgespühlten Rest, der davon heute noch übrig ist, ist mehr als peinlich.

The German war machine during the entire Second world war, ironically mirrors what Methamphetamine addicts " feel " like when they begin dosing, I may be wrong but it was what, 7 years ish the war went on, if we compress it down to 7 days, the beginning is pure utter Euforia, power strength and infinite capacity to multitask and infinite wisdom and superhuman abilities, then as the days and nights go by, every redosing works less and less and less, you go from superman in your performance to barley alive, drained, and you turn into a fysical wreck, you strength starts to fail, your body starts to hurt, things start to fall apart and it only gets worse, the wonderful high has instead turned to warped sense of time, values degrade, the mind starts to play tricks on you and your senses and ability to think, make rational decisions, and in the end you are reduced to a shell of a person and then it stops working entirely, all your dopamine down to the last molecule has been used up, and then after horrible paranoia, illusions,delusions,hallucinations and dicassosiation you collapse, loose conciousness and just like that the fun and glory and epicness you got in the beginning days and doses is gone and has become an awful hell were only uncomfterable emotions are left. And you in the end forget there is such a thing as hapiness, you forget what happy emotiones even are like.

Sure bet you felt like the most badass capable soldier to havevever lived going thrue france with all that high Adrenaline and synthetically infused Dopamine levels by the Pervitin aka Meth, but the thing is, it only ever works once or thrice in using and only ever rarerly. Sure it can benefit you in difficult situations, but it looses its cognitive enhancing effects quickly as it tires you out, and with extended long term usage you instead become imoral, unempathetic, narcissistic, delusional, and pschychotic. And weaker mentally and physically.

The Wehrmacht was different from the Nazi party. Almost every German was just a man that wanted food and water in the crisis. And when you have 3 children at home and can only buy one bread a year.. You will support anybody. The overall German foot soldier didn't know about the holocaust and crimes he really thought he was fighting for his country.. Of course some soldiers in the Wehrmacht liked the ideology and they really did bad things in Russia.. But the normal overall German foot soldier was just a man. I mean they were probably the strongest army ever.. I mean if Hitler and his generals were a little more smarter they would had taken over the world.. But we can be glad they didn't. But it's not Right to punish every German. Especially the soldiers fought a hard life.

What peace can the normal German soldier expect? What "Peace" can they expect after the crimes of the Nazis and everyone thought all Germans were bad people. Many people forget that the first country the Nazis invaded was their own.




My Great Great grandfather fought in the Wehrmacht. And I'm proud calling me a German. We have such a bride and interesting history because Germany and the German people were always there but also not and always different like a shapeshifter. The Germans really changed the world many times with their inventions.
