This is one of the best short movies I have ever seen. It is very well made and it doesn't take a psychology degree to understand the concepts behind it. Very done!

took me a minute to comprehend the story but it's great to see how men handle violation and how the experience and role reversal plays out. love it!

I see it as an allegory of women and the role we play in society and r*pe as well as our expectations and how men usually feel about women or react to them. The howling at the end when the man gets hurt, is a perfect example of how women are silenced and when they speak up, men defend each other. Our access to birth control, autonomy over our bodies. All are discussed here with the tables turned so it’s men instead of women. There is more to it than that, but this theme sticks out to me!

Is this a male version of female real lives?? Amazing short, super weird and scary. I loved the bad guy, he reminds me of that old cartoon about 3 guys on a bike flirting with a doll like girl and then a green devil like guy starts talimg the girl. He looks just like thay demon.

Very off putting. I wish they would’ve taken a different approach in regards to the religious aspects of the story. Otherwise it was complex and disturbing like a horror short should be.

I have to say I graciously stumbled upon this channel! I have been binge watching nonstop! This one. This one right here…. is AMAZING!! This is BY FAR my very very very favorite horror short film I’ve seen. That also includes every other short horror film I’ve ever seen! This was BRILLIANT

This movie should be shown everywhere, holy shit. And I imagine lots of people would still miss the entire premise of forced birth and how pretty much everything he is told is what rape victims now are told.

Oh man, this was brilliant! Everything about it is great: the plot, the writing, the acting & the cinematography...
On my favorites list, for sure.

We should send this short film to government officials and force them to watch it like A Clockwork Orange. This short film is so visceral and nuanced, it's amazing that it was able to attack so many subjects head on. Between the gender role reversal with the male being the one raped and impregnated, to the covering up of his experience by everyone around him including his lady! Those themes are so hard to touch without being too obvious or expressing in a way that's hard to understand. It's done so well here. 

When he tried to confide in his friend, only to hear "you should appreciate this blessing".. or trying to speak to his lady, to hear excitement about a baby and a disregard to his comfort and choice. Shit, even the operating scene, where we pray over the death of the baby as we zip up the host in a bag like trash. So many elements, so well executed.

Excellent production, and one of the most thought-provoking movies I've seen. There are definitely parallels to today's reality.

Mass indoctrination facilitated by a powerful financial/political elite. The co-opting of religion to this end. The way the victims embrace their own genetic replacement.
