TEKKEN 7: BEGINNER GUIDE (BASIC TO PRO)

I had a friend in primary school who was an astonishing Tekken player. Hwoarang was his favourite character and he had his entire move set memorized. I remember bunch of us as friends going round his place to play Tekken 3 on the weekends... you could NOT beat my friend if he picked Hwoarang. If he picked any other character you were in with a chance of beating him but if he picked Hwoarang you had absolute zero chance, he would just make you look stupid every time.

I just started. Though coming from previous games and this being more of a 3d fighting game I've tried remapping the buttons on my controller. Though I wish the move list would update to match the remapped controller scheme.

Getting into this game so late its a little stressful lots of smurfs and so on it would be a lot easier if tekken 8 was out the amount of people playing would make learning organically more enjoyable for 1 but man i love tekken just never got into It but i seen that T8 teaser and said it's time

i mindlessly bought Kunimitsu a week ago after purchasing tekken and I'm suffering. But this vid actually made me understand the timings and stuff. I always spam my Rage Art whenever I see that its up and I end up hoping that it hits and if it doesn't, I'm automatically dead.
I also lack movement which I finally noticed after watching this video. I honestly shouldn't have bought her right away ngl. But I guess I'll have to crawl my way up

This has some good stuff in it but I don't think its the best beginners guide tbh. The section on movement just glosses over back dash cancelling like it's easy to master and then just moves on to grabs without talking about any other type of movement.

Speaking as a beginner, this is not a beginner guide. Questions: How do you block? What is a power punch? What is a rage drive? What is rage art? How do I do these things? I'll go back to hurting my thumbs button mashing.
