I didn't know Hamarhraft could be abused with flight, I had it used by a Monk, through "Step of the Wind : Dash". I could jump multiple times per turn (still cost 3m of movement per jump) at the cost of one Ki point. Even like that, if felt broken.

The BEST thing about Nylruna is that it is Versatile, which means it can be used in some devastating dual-wield builds. All those positives and also very high damage shine even more when used for multi-weapon fighting. ;)

Returning Pike on my barbarian karlach basically carried me until the end of Act 2 and I kept using it togheter with nylruna when I didn't want friendly fire aoe damage.

With the right items from act 1 you can do consistent damage with 90%+ attack rolls all the time (even without risky ring)

Funny that you didn't include one of the earliest weapons you can get that you can solo tactician with for the rest of the game making you virtually immortal. The Skinburster. But sure those other weapons sure are pretty. Not even the most powerfull ones in terms of damage.

For me, Hamarhaft was not in a chest, but on top of it. If this wasn't patched out, you may have to hit ALT to find it in the room that is on fire beside the man under the beam. I used create water to rain on the room after both rescues were complete. It's easy to open the chest and not pick it up or even see it in the smoke filled room.

Spellstriker- the staff u get from Avernus house of hope. Gonna respec my sorc to dual wield staffs. Two arcane batteries is not a thing to scoff at! Free casting of level 6 spells. Disintegrate FTW plus twincast! Ends fights early. Sword of Balduran the best two handed great sword in the game!

Hand crossbows. The sharpshooter ability gives 10 extra damage per hand crossbow. Duel crossbows give 20 extra damage on top of everything else.

The stone giant club as a secondary for Asterion is a major buff to that character. Secondary weapons already do much less damage, but the strength bonus really helps that character in general.

I think the short sword that gives 7 flat piercing damage any time you attack with advantage deserves mention. When combined with the Warmaster gloves and maneuvers this can make for a 1hander build that HITS like a weapon-master 2-hander build, but without the annoying accuracy penalty. When combined with Hex (or hunter's mark from the grymforge helm) and a weapon coating, this does enough damage swapping it out for a 2-hander often wouldn't offer you a big % increase in per turn damage. Or in other words, most of the perks of 2h build without any of the downsides.

Edit: Warmaster gloves really just give disadvantage to getting knocked prone or feared from maneuvers, but it's still a pretty reliable way of gaining advantage. If you're doing some sort of blade pact warlock build you could use devils sight and darkness; there's even a headpiece in act 3 that makes you immune to blind completely and you could use Hadal or Fog, which gives an advantage against other creatures with devil's sight (like the Raphael fight). (this is because devil's sight is bugged and should make you see in fog and Hadal, but only works in the "darkness" spell specifically.

Funfact for the ring of the djinn, you can also trade with him, buy the ring of him* (*or trade a bunch of useless unenchanted stuff n such) and he will still accouse you for cheating even though you just bought it* from him 😂.

Bloodthirst dagger was insane for me. I have a rogue go around tapping enemies once to get the pieceing vulnerability and have my dual hand bow sharpshooter ranger/fighter on haste killing everyone (with the risky ring).

A weapon that I think is lowkey pretty busted that I haven't really seen mentioned a lot in people's videos is Rhapsody. It's a dagger that I think you get off of Cazadar, which gives you a scarlet remittance stack for every enemy you kill, stacking up to 3 times. Each stack gives +1 to Attack (including spell attack), damage, and spell save DC. At a glance it might seem like the dagger has maybe niche uses for big massive fights where you can kill many enemies quickly to get it stacked up, but the key aspect of why this is imo pretty busted is the duration. Although it's not described on the item or buff itself, the stacks last until long rest. In addition, "killing" doesn't actually mean killing a creature, but just reducing anything with a health bar to 0 hp.

So you can equip this dagger, and at the start of your day find 3 random crates, destroy them, and you'll now have a +3 to weapon/spell attack, +3 to damage, and +3 to spell save DC for the rest of the day. Plus it's a light weapon, so you could pair it with another main/offhand item without going dual wielder to get more bonuses (e.g. ketheric thorm's shield, undermountain dagger). It was even more busted before because there were bugs that allowed the damage to apply multiple times in an attack, and another that allowed you to keep the stacks even after unequipping, but I think those bugs got patched. But even without those bugs, you still basically just get +3 to every offensive stat permanently for free, which lets it fit really well into pretty much any build that doesn't really care about its melee weapon options (or at least its melee offhand option). My favourite use of it so far has been using it on a control-style bard/warlock, with just obscene levels of spell save DC (I think i can reach 26 or 27, though I tend to keep it to like 24 with some damage boosting gear), and eldritch blast on the side.

Hammerhraft thing will get patched out for sure.

Nyrulna is probably the most universally usable endgame weapon, it's just great for so many builds (thanks Bhaalist Armor).

I actually also really like Dwarven Thrower. The race restriction is easily worked around by a disguise spell, the bonus damage is doubled by tavern brawler, the annoying friendly fire AOE of Nyrulna is not there (plus thanks to both being returning weapons, you can swap them around during battle without action cost), and it has double the weight of Nyrulna too, which is quite relevant for a throwing weapon (you should always position on the highest possible ground whenever possible for maximum damage).

Mourning Frost is another great one, I've been experimenting with a single level of Nature Domain cleric splash for heavy armor + create water + shillelagh to abuse it as heavily as possible (Armor of Agathys + Fire shield + Create Water bard tank is fun).

for the drakethroat buff, you should use a sorcerer and twincast it to buff 2 weapons at the same time, and you can put your weapons in the part chest to retain the buff, this way you can buff all your party members weapons

Interesting interaction with nylruna. The 3m bonus movement is additive upon equipping it. Meaning, if you use all your movement then throw it at a target, you will gain 3m movement back when it returns to your hand. Used on a fighter this can result in 18m of extra movement on a turn where you use action surge.

Your welc9me for the Drakethroat Glauve tip ;^) . I used the Draconic Weapon Enchantment on the Light of Creation Halberd along with the Sparkswell ring so the Halberd didn't select electrocute me, and oh my goodness did it Cleave for an Act and a half until I swapped it for Nyrullna or wtv the Trident's name is. Craziest thing...the +1 Light of Creation Halberd did more damage on normal attacks when both were imbued with the Draconic +1 attack and damage + 1d4 elemental damage of choice. Not a lot more, but 1 or 2 per hit on average. That halberd with the Glaive special is...just wow. With another +1d4 Radiant from...idr what, but it crit the Myrkul Avatar for 76 damage. By a Cleric with a 16 strength. I did add 1d4 Thunder damage as well from the Tempest bonuses, but 76 damage from an early Act 1 weapon boosted by a mid Act 1 weapon is just craziness. Now I have it making the Trident a beast.

As for the Bliod of Lathander...I disagree. I think it makes a great late game weapon. If you have a dual weirder with two-weapon fighting letting them use medium weapons. I have Jaheira using that and Phalar Aluve, then once PA's ability is used she switches to that and Duelist's Perogative. I keep it as the main simply bc of the amount of Umdead we run into almost at random I'm this darn game. Lol, so many undead, and that Mace just makes a mockery of them. Works great on Casador, and that's usually one of my last quests of the game.

I’m surprised Gontr Mael didn’t make this list. The bow has a dc15 chance to apply advantage to your next attack, celestial haste gives all the benefits of regular haste but no lethargy and it deals 1-4 radiant damage to every attack if you use the menacing attack even if you miss.

Combine this with bloodthirst which can make enemies vulnerable to piercing damage and using special arrow types and coating your weapon in poisons/oils just makes this weapon busted for any ranger/fighter with action surge.

I really hope they don’t nerf Cherished Necromancy.

Frankly I don’t think it is bugged, the effect is working how it’s written and it’s locked to only necromancy spells.

With blight only being usable against certain enemy types and circle of death being situationally strong (you can’t make it not hit your party like you can with every evocation spell) the staff mostly just lets you cast high level summons without using up your spell slots.

It’s the only way to make necros/spore feel truly powerful that doesn’t force you to multi class the two.
