Thank you. Having watched the whole series I must say it was an eye opener. What lovely friendly people.
ОтветитьThis series has been fantastic, it's something I've really enjoyed. The Saudi people seem very welcoming and genuinely friendly people. It just shows how powerful the media is a cross the world. To gain a true understanding, you have to see if for yourself.
One thing I want to know though is are all these people you're with normal, genuine people or are they guides which you've hired etc as you're an influencer with many followers?
I'm thinking of working in Saudi and this has really helped make my decision. I still have some worries though. Will I be accepted as a Westerner? Will I be given lashes or put in prison for making a mistake?
On my last note, well done on the series, you've literally gone to the top of my watch list.
cool what do you think about the food?
ОтветитьNew subscriber…amazing videos…informative vlogs and thank you especially your Saudi series…I miss the place.I was there for many years.
ОтветитьSaudi Arabia has destroyed it's Culture, Glory, civilization and Religion.
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful blue eyed woman
ОтветитьLoved every single video, you have make me planned a trip with my gf. This coming 2023 we r going there and see if we could open a business. Thanx for your videos. The only thing you missed telling us is average spent, cost of life, how much was the car you rented etc......cos as you said, we cant find that info online. Thanx anyway!
ОтветитьI really enjoyed watching your journey to Saudi. I am Saudi myself who lives in Canada, this is my second home. Many of us are educated, open minded and lived and travelled to many countries. Your right, it is the most misunderstood, misrepresented country and Media is to blame. Thanks Peter for sharing your positive experience about Saudi.
ОтветитьSaudi Arabia was on my to do list as a Convert to Islam for Mecca & Medina but now I want to visit lots more places .
Ответитьوالله اني اليوم شاهدت جميع الحلقات التي صورتها بالسعوديه وانا أصبحت من اكثر المعجبين بيك
ОтветитьHow does a Canadian move to saudi? I just fell in love with it
ОтветитьI think all the content of saudi has already over the places on internet but all of the information with arabic that’s why searching in english didn’t work
Ответитьvery true brother
ОтветитьI jad to pause to say this and I'm going to be careful choosing my words but a lot of negative videos and videos that warn about unnecessary things in the middle east are usually Isreali propaganda. Until just recently (very recently) anyone with an Israeli passport couldn't get into Saudi Arabia. In fact they would stop you before you even got on the plane. And many other Middle Eastern countries had bans on Israeli entrance into their countries. Only just now, Saudi Arabia is allowing Israeli entrance on a limited permit necessary basis so we may start to see Israeli propaganda wane over time as they're allowed access more and more. Just figured I'd throw that out there for people who may be wondering why the negativity. It's not that they're trying to be negative but because of the tension and because they have been banned so long, they want the rest of the world to feel it the way they feel it.
ОтветитьI'm here in Riyadh three years after you posted this and everything you're saying is still completely accurate. Despite MBS's vision 2030, the country is not at all set up for tourism still but Saudi's are incredibly helpful and kind. Traveling here independently without enough credit left to rent a car (been traveling the region for months) is really hard. Getting from city to city is not easy and within the cities one must take taxis everywhere because the distances are huge. I feel like I need to come back here armed with way more knowledge and way way more money and start over again. Great explainer Peter!
ОтветитьGreat Vlog Brother
ОтветитьI don’t know why you guys think that Arab or GCC countries hates westerners 😅 who gave you that idea ?! I am Kuwaiti btw but I really enjoyed your Saudi vlogs 👍🏼 next time we are waiting for you in Kuwait 🇰🇼
ОтветитьWhy are Americans trying to normalize a country that has blatantly ignored so many rules and continues to do so? Do Americans only really care about money? It's really shocking to see this country portrayed in normal light when in fact it is not normal at all. It's a country that sponsored terrorists, kidnapped people who speak against it and then completely shredded them and threw them in the grass. It's totally shameful to even speak about it. In fact the only reason why you are now speaking about it is their oil wealth, you would seriously do anything to stop Iran.
ОтветитьI think your advice is great for you men. Which is fine, you’re a guy! Your trip looked amazing.
ОтветитьI have watched every one of this series and have absolutely loved it.
Seeing a part of the world I will never probably see, it's been amazing following your journey.
The way you do it, it's like seeing through your eyes, almost seeing it for yourself. What a beautiful country! The people were so welcoming to you, respectfull and well mannered. Thank you
Should visit Israel/Palestine
ОтветитьHello Peter 😊I watched all your videos on Saudi. The people were so nice and friendly. It's the young people who want a change and good on them. What is said on the internet should be taken away your videos you show that its a great place.😊
ОтветитьAwesome serie Peter, I binged watch this! So interesting!
ОтветитьAs I have watched these videos and have been educated about the real Saudis and not what the media would have us believe, I have wondered if other people across the world think we are like the current administration with their upside-down views, and lies. corruption, and satanic worship. Thankfully, we the people are not associated with being a carbon copy of this heinous government. We the people, for the most part, are honest, caring, and giving.
ОтветитьI lived in Jeddah from 93-99. My jaw dropped seeing this. Makes me want to go back again....I loved the life there. I had a business importing American things. I cant even imagine the way it would be to do business there now. Great job Peter.
ОтветитьOnly a few minutes into the video but wanted to pop in and comment on your opening. In February, 2023, I solo traveled to Mexico (my destination was a retreat - so I was not just wandering alone) but the reactions from people blew my mind (once again false media narratives.) Telling me that I should not go alone and as a woman I could be kidnapped, trafficked, murdered, shot by the cartels, etc. There was not a moment that I did not feel 100 percent safe - in fact, I ended my trip in Southern California (born and raised) and spent an additional 4 days there before returning home. Only back in the US did I feel in danger. The people in Mexico were kind, welcoming and it was a wonderful experience. I realize that it is not Saudia Arabia but still the narratives people have been fed and really have zero idea what they are talking about. Excited to learn about travel in Saudi Arabia.
ОтветитьIt's good for you as an American
But for people who migrate there to work they treat them like a donkey.
It’s called learning how to agree, to disagree. Lost art of communication.
ОтветитьAbsolutely loved this series. The people are beautiful. ❤
ОтветитьThat is why I stop watching Western media channels like CNN and FOX news
ОтветитьLived in Jizan for two years. Traveled between Yemen and Jeddah on those winding roads from Abha to Jizan many times. Your vid’s brought it all back. Thank you. The contrast between new and old remains the same. Loved the meal scene with the rice dish. Eating with others is an experience that can only be had in that setting. I remember sitting cross legged around a huge platter of rice and lamb. So hard to get up after sitting in that position for a couple of hours, right? Thanks again for the a trip down memory lane.
ОтветитьVice News with its negative and controversial videos get millions of like but Peter gets only 300kfor showing reality.
ОтветитьI'm new to your channel but really enjoyed this series. Saudi Arabia has always been on my list of places to visit but always wondered how it would be for a woman traveling, so haven't gone yet. But love traveling the way you travel, by immersing myself and meeting new friends along my journey. Again really love the way you respect the cultures you visit and present your videos.
ОтветитьI am going there soon, thank you)
ОтветитьCome again peter, there’s a lot of changes now
You are welcome anytime
I really enjoyed watching Thank you
Yea but Peter Stantenello, do you really think you know a bit about their Culture just going on a two week visit. Come ON MayyyyN 😊😉 DO like your Vidioes by the ways there really fun and you teach em the fun American stuff looks like anyway ✌️👌
ОтветитьOh I'm in Spain by the way , doing same thing, not Vidioes though 🤠🤓 🚚 👨🍳 🚛
ОтветитьI'm very late to the show, but this series was absolutely amazing! Thank you.
Watching this has almost entirely changed my perspective on Saudi Arabia for the better.
will be going in december so thanks.
ОтветитьWhat I loved most about this series is that you came with an open mind. I loved your point of view and the way you interpreted things. I really enjoyed watching this series. I hope you will come visit us soon and make this series a second installment.
Also thank you very much for revealing the truth about our country🤍
Ur absolutely a gem u did not believe anyone u ur self went there and saw everything experienced that’s all Saudia Arabia u gave the best review by experiencing urself thank u
ОтветитьThank you for sharing the other narrative.
ОтветитьI wonder what would it be like for a woman to do the same trip and try to do the same things as you.
From my heart ❤ I thank you very much for what you said about my country for saying the trouth 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
ОтветитьPeople are nice as long as you pay / hv money 😂
ОтветитьThis 71 year old grandmother thoroughly enjoyed this fantastic series on Saudi Arabia! What an eye opening series! The best way to get to know other cultures is to get among them like you do. Thank you for being so passionate about your travels and getting close to the people and taking us on your journeys. You take me to places I will never get to travel to. God bless you and keep you safe. ❤🙏🏻
