Late to the party but I can run in 4K on high on my 2070 super now which wasn't a great experience before the updates.
I was prepared to need an upgrade to get Cyberpunk to work in 4k but they've really done a lot of optimisation.
Can't give all the credit to CDPR because I think it's due to the NVDIA tech but it's impressive nonetheless.
I just finished Phantom Liberty with saving So Mi as the ending, AND SHIT BALLS IT WAS THAT GOOD. Prior to this, TW3's Blood and Wine was the best DLC story for me, then cdpr dropped this gem.
ОтветитьI'm surprised there's no mention of outfits. Clothing is now cosmetic, because all the armor comes via cyberware. Thus, all the great clothing we used to collect is just a visually different outfit of what we've already got.
ОтветитьInteresting...I don't get the whole you can't play this entire expansion guns blazing. I went into the expansion with that mindset, and so far, playing like a cyberpsycho has been a blast. It's like playing a totally tuned up, futuristic Call of Duty.
I started the expansion by taking out every single Barhast mercenary in the front of Dog Town. I purposefully waited for the two NCPD officers to leave before going on my first kill crazy rampage. I, as a level 31, all range V (no melee) killed every last one of the mercs out front. I killed the peons, I killed the armored guys, multiple gun turrets, snipers on the walla, runners in the back, guys in armed armored vehicles, two mechs, and roughly more 20 snipers at the very end. There had to have been well over 100 enemies, but I digress....Every mission inside Dog Town since then has been one roaring gun fight after another. Sublime.
Can we complete all the endings of phantom Liberty with 1 character (and all iconic weapons)? If yes please tell me how
ОтветитьJust got the CP bundle. Sorry for not understanding if i should I finish the main story or get close to the end and then start Phantom Liberty, or start it as Soon as Its available. What do you recommend for the full Cyberpunk experience?
ОтветитьThis contains spoilers.
ОтветитьHaha no spoilers for phantom liberty but major spoilers for the base game huh? I just picked up the game again after buying it on ps4 lol didn’t know that’s what gonna happen with soul killer
ОтветитьI miss 1.6 😢
ОтветитьDefo
ОтветитьCan anybody tell me what happened to the bio conductor that gave you 30% cool down ??
ОтветитьLiterally logged in to my psn account at work and bought the DLC after watching this😅😂
ОтветитьWon't lie the sandy bit kinda bums me out
ОтветитьDoes phantom liberty have postgame?
ОтветитьI haven't finished it, but Phantom Liberty -and 2.0 - has a polish to it that was really missing at launch
ОтветитьCdpr leaving the red engine is such a lame decision. Unreal real is over used and unique engines are needed in the industry.
ОтветитьI think my only issue with 2.0 is the shift away from clothing stats. If you want to die less now you have to chrome yourself out with armour cyberware, my OG character though hated cyberware and became the queen of cyberpunks without any cyberware now I had to just infuse my entire body with armour to not die immediately.
ОтветитьIf I hear the word "Sitch" one more fucking time.
ОтветитьNot gonna lie, when Phantom Liberty came out, it actually got me to purchase CP2077. Having only experienced the game with the 2.0 features, I'm gonna say ignorance is bliss.
ОтветитьIdris Elba has "it"
Coolness factor, pressence, wow factor, whatever you call it, he has it.
And now? He can add pretty good voice actor to his immense arsenal.
Things i didn't like after the update
1. removing the auto disassemble perk
2. WHY WOULD THEY MAKE REBOOT OPTICS TRACEABLE NOW??
So I waited until last week to start my cyberpunk adventure. And I’m so glad I waited as this game is a fucking banger now. Phantom liberty was so good and the endings made me feel some things
ОтветитьDay 1 of my journey beyond the blackwall: Told some red thing I was one of them. I think it looked at my crotch. Can't lose my nerve now. Remember, "I'm an A.I., I'm an A.I..."
Day 2: She bought it. Gathered a bunch of other colored lights around me, most of which were mind-boggling and nowhere near as sexy as the red one. Had to explain the digital erection I'd apparently maintained for over thirty giga-hours since yesterday's infiltration. I told them I was only doing math. I feel I've made the first steps toward ingratiating myself into their culture.
Day 3: Talk of the wall. Plans discussed to do a graffiti on it after years of failed attempts to breach. If only they knew! Debates over whether or not the wall has feelings that can be hurt, split decision over whether graffiti should be a funny mustache to embarrass it or a written series of insults. A green ball of plasma with the alternating faces inside of it of everyone I've ever known has just run up and claimed to have already electro-peed on the aforementioned wall. More debates about what the wall may or may not possibly even like (in the weird way).
Day 4: I have begun to gain their trust. Threw what looked like a rock against the wall, but the rock was destroyed. Turned out it wasn't even a rock, but a long-sought traitor hiding in plain site, singing the praises of the wall to the great annoyance of everyone. Stopped short of explaining I did it on a gut feeling at the risk of revealing my true human status.
Day 5: Red lady started talking about ghosts, and I think something about souls. Finally lost erection. Was asked if I'd finished my calculations. Said, "Yes."
Day 6: Some kind of taxi looking object struck the green thing. I had named him Mr. Gobster. Obliterated. Digi-taxi moved too fast to get the plate. Didn't even know there were roads here.
Day 7: A day off from wall business for once. Some kind of beyond-the-wall Sabbath? After a light lunch -- of literal light, that is -- some festivities and invigorating mind-wrestling. Was given a serious headache by a banking algorithm that looked like a cloud of pink bees. Think I went too far and accidentally deleted another designed to make perfect fitting shoes, thought things were on the other foot until they weren't. The real world might suffer for this one, or maybe both. May any God or gods listening forgive me. At least none of the others noticed or cared.
Day 8: Back to the wall again, and I couldn't contain it any longer. A veritable army had shown up like they apparently do every Monday, gathered around to call the wall all kinds of sissy names. Thought I could impress myself to the top of their social hierarchy if I used my skills to jump back to the normal net and return. So happens the wall had feelings that can be hurt quite a lot more than anticipated, and actually an enormous amount to say, called me a murderer and a pervert and a sneaky snake. Tried to press myself up to it and think of the red lady, willing myself back beyond. Wall called me a pervert a second time and made the front of my brain go numb, normie-locked forever. It seems the real world beckons me home...
End of entries
its a phenomenal expansion and dogtown truly is a highlight in level design - so much detail and character in such a small area
ОтветитьQuestion. Main game spoiler too, so don't read this if you haven't completed the main game.
Nothing matters and you can't enjoy the game because you die anyway in the main game.
So did they fix this? Because if PL doesn't, what's the point. If you die anyway the entire experience is hollow - like the main game.
If the expansion doesn't fix this, you're back to square one. Pointless and can't be enjoyed because no matter what you do - you're dead regardless. Making anything you do unenjoyable. Because there's no goal to work towards or meaning to any of it.

Loved the expansion a lot, but I do have to say, I think the writers maybe got a bit lazy with the endings. The fact that you can, best case, get nothing at all out of all the trouble, betrayal and risk you went through, and worst case, get an ending that is probably second worst only to losing your mind inside an Arasaka space station, seems to me like they sort of screwed us, as players, here. Nobody expected a fairy tale 'good' ending, wrong city, wrong people. But all the basegame endings offer either slivers of hope, or at least a death worthy of someone like V, who, by the end of the game, became a larger-than-life legend who, as all NC legends do, needed to snuff it in spectacular fashion to be remembered forever. Phantom Liberty does not offer anything like this. I can see another Mr. Blue Eyes-themed ending coming from helping Songbird, Blue Eyes helped her get to the moon already, seeing his people, whoever they are, also cutting a deal with V does not seem too unbelievable. I think the fact that the only new ending that phantom Liberty offers is nearly on par with the base game's worst endings makes it feel not just intentionally tragic, but honestly a bit lazy. It's a game full of choices, the only meaningful new one you can offer me is one that is objectively among the worst? For half the price of a full game, you would think that you could ask for more than ONE extra 'bad' ending, and the 'it's always been a sad game!' explanation just doesn't hold, when you look at the 'better' endings from the base game...
Ответитьi hope you make a video ranking the cars in this dlc, they all look amazing
ОтветитьThe story was so damn good, I was surprised by it. If you haven’t played it, don’t look at anything about phantom liberty. Just play it!!!!
ОтветитьI played this game at release on my PS4 and gave up pretty quick. Just did the PS5 upgrade and booted up my original character.... loving it. Such an improved game.
ОтветитьPolice rework is one of my fav thing, especially MaxTac, I had the biggest smile on my face when i reached 5* for the first time and they just wiped me in a matter of seconds, they feel so grand it's insane, like i'm really fucking with something i shouldn't.
ОтветитьOnly 2 good endings in cyberpunk the 1 with Panam with a possible chance of a cure finding another way and saving So Mi. though all of it feels hollow afterwards like wishing you can do more get that perfect ending you know. but i know there's no such thing in the cyberpunk lore for most of the characters in it. I'm just going on a rant but can't wait for the sequel role on project Orion
ОтветитьHi, when i should start PL to get the best experience please? I didnt finish main game yet and didnt see any ending, I just got the game and im lvl 16 where I have main quest gimme danger with takemura and I have just met Panam
ОтветитьI like to think the 2.0 makes you feel like a bigger badass than the OG ever did. Even with the changes to Netrunning
ОтветитьThe ending went from spy thriller to horror real quick
Ответитьi've only started playing on the console (ps5) recently, does the 2.0 update download automatically or do i have to do something about it?
ОтветитьI think im going to have to replay the game now. Beet in when it first cane out and even then i thoroughly enjoyed it.
ОтветитьFor someone just starting the original story is there a reason to get this dlc or fo i do the o.g first?
ОтветитьIs there a reason why enemies on bikes are able to do 200 flips and not fall off?
ОтветитьI think it's finally time to dive into Cyberpunk. Been sitting on my copy since it was given to me just waiting for it to reach its potential.
Ответитьi hate the new car stealing/delivery missions, you steal a car, get chased by a never ending swarm of enemies hunting you while you drive to the opposite side of the map. it's never driving to the next district over it's always the other side of the map, i did 2 of them and then never touched it again, not worth the reward.
ОтветитьI'm sad that a lot of the flavour text has been removed from the inventory items for cyberware or non-iconic weapons.
ОтветитьWas annoyed they'd nerfed the shit out of netrunners with the tracing mechanics, cost of cyberware etc. but nope! Once you get the Canto cyberdeck, it's as OP as it ever was lol
ОтветитьPistols and AR's no longer both being in the reflexes tree is kind of a bummer for me. Before 2.0, I settled into a playstyle of using pistols for high damage, precise ricochet plays and rifles for general spray'n'pray from a cover. I did rely on Cool stat a lot though, for those cold blood boosts (and generally preferring to start gigs from stealth), so it isn't a huge loss.
ОтветитьSays no spoilers, then spoils soul killer. Great video
ОтветитьMy somehow deal WAY less dmg now, did they balance dmg too?
Ответить
